Great quality, just didn't fit with my particular tripod. (Ulanzi ZERO F38)
I have the Ulanzi ZERO F38, this did NOT fit into the bracket. As for the collar itself, it seems heavy duty, and sturdy, when mounted on my lens. All metal construction. If it fit my tripod, I'd definitely keep this.Edit: Ulanzi now offers a new plate as a separate purchase. If used on the Ulanzi tripod, you use it in one direction, if on Peak Design gear, you use it in a different direction. It’s ridiculous this has to be paid for as a separate item, it’s like ~20 bucks it should be included for free, or upon purchasing the tripod get a free coupon. So annoyed with this purchase already, and have a bad taste in my mouth for Ulanzi products.Remember, this tripod came out in August - without a ball head - asthe Y model, I think it was called. Then just last month, this F38 model comes out with the ball head. It’s easy to show that Ulanzi engineers aren’t forward thinking, so buyers beware.

Way cheaper than the officially branded collar
For half the price of the lens' original collar, you get basically the same exact product. Follow the instructions when installing it, paying special attention to aligning the marks on the collar and lens. For people wondering, you must remove the rubber ring from the lens first in order to install the collar. Once installed, this is a sturdy product that I feel confident will keep my lens secured. I have used it on multiple shoots on a rapid sling strap and on a tripod. Not once have I worried it wouldn't hold my lens properly.Seriously, get this one and take the extra money you would have spent on the manufacturer's collar and go buy a lens filter or two. More bang for your buck!

I see no reason to pay twice as much for the name brand!
I recently purchased the Sigma 100-400mm DC DN for Sony E mount, and like everyone else, immediately discovered that I needed a tripod collar/foot to handle all that weight. While the typical price for something like that would be about $50, the Sigma TC-111 is inexplicably listed for $130! There aren't many generic options listed yet, but I found that this brand was well reviewed for other products, so I took a gamble that it would work well, since it was priced more reasonably.I am thoroughly pleased! It feels quite sturdy, and was simple to install. While the pictures don't really show it, there is a bit of a silicon like layer on the inside that provides a bit of padding and grip, so you don't have to worry about metal on metal contact. If you just slightly release tension on the thumbscrew, you can rotate the lense from portrait to landscape within the tripod collar if desired, and then tighten it back up for tripod use. The foot itself can mount directly to an arca tripod mount, or it has screw holes for quick release plates. I've tested it a fair bit, and feel very comfortable that it was a good buy.

Depends how you use it
We bought this collar first because it's so much less than the Sigma. Overall, it works well -- stays solid and holds the lens in place for long exposures (5-10 seconds using an ND filter and still sharp) but there was one thing that we just couldn't get used to: it tended to sag or drift down a bit when trying to do tight framing. We really noticed the difference between this and the integrated collar of the Sony 70-200mm 2.8 GM. There is never any downward drift with that lens collar, so dealing with it in the Sigma (esp. when extended out to 400 mm) made us decide to try the Sigma mount. So far we're not seeing the same kind of drift, although it's happened once or twice in a small way, definitely less noticeable than the Haoge. So, is the Sigma worth paying double for? Depends on how you use it -- if you're using it for situations where tight framing and position hold are very important, the Haoge will probably start to irritate you after a while. If that isn't the way you use your lens, then the Haoge is a good, solid tripod collar.

Just as good as Sigma’s
I own both the Sony 100-400mm zoom and the Sigma version of this great focal length. Having done detailed comparison tests, the Sigma is also absolutely superb. I’m a well-known pro and if you are still considering which lens to buy, here’s my detailed review:https://www.amazon.com/review/RA16EO4QY2VI6/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B08BHPVZB4A few diss the Sigma because it doesn’t come with a tripod collar. However, at 40% the cost of the Sony I’m actually glad it doesn’t. As great as the Sony 100-400 is, the collar does not include an Arca-type quick release, a mistake on Sony’s part. Enter the Sigma TS-11A collar, ridiculously priced at $130. NOPE!This Haoge LMR-SM140S is just as good and just five ounces. The Arca quick release plate is superior to Sony’s version, too.

Well constructed, great price
I purchased this lens collar tripod mount for the Sigma 100-400mm f5-6.3 DG DN OS e mount lens. It is very well constructed and reasonably price. To install remove rubber ring from lens. Loosen the lens collar. Rotate the collar to find the right alignment for the raised screws on the lens and notches in the collar. This will not be the proper final position so do not freak out. There is an inner groove that these screws set in. Rotate the collar to it's proper position aligning the white lines at the top of the lens and collar then tighten the thumb screw. The collar is designed this way with an inner groove to help lock the collar in place.

Almost returned this, due to lack of instruction
Mine came without instruction. I almost returned it. You have to remove the rubber from the length before putting this collar on. Otherwise, you will damage your len.Other than that, the fit is good enough. It feels sturdy and well made. Good value so far. 3 stars because of lack of instruction.

Great quality for the price.
Don’t waste your money of the Sigma branded mount. This one does the job perfectly and it’s very sturdy. I have no complaints.
