Lenovo Thinkpad T60 T61 X220 X230 R61 R400 Laptop AC Adapter Charger Power Cord

I was pretty panicked when I lost the charger to my really old Thinkpad, which still works great. With the funky old-school round plug in, I was sure all was lost and I'd never find a replacment charger. But I ordered this, it was really reasonably priced, and it works great.

This item works fine, just as expected. It is more compact than the previous unit I purchased from Fry's in Phoenix, that failed after three days. The power cord is very robust with a three prong plug. I use it for powering and recharging my Lenovo T410. It arrived in about two days. It was quite simply protected and packaged in an economical bubble wrap lined envelope. There is just nothing not to like.

This replaced an adapter which was inconsistent when plugged to any outlet except a surge bar. this new adapter is working great. However I believe it is just to early to rate its durability.

Works like a charm! No problems and that's why I always suggest factory original parts!!

THE CHEAP ONES WERE CAUSING MY LAPTOP TO WIG OUT BIG TIME. THE CHEAP ONES WILL RUIN YOUR COMPUTER. DO NOT USE THE 90W!!!! IT WILL DESTROY YOUR LAPTOP SOONER OR LATER

For being a 60w charger it charges very quickly. The charger itself is nice and small, it does not get hot while in use. Its a great charger.

There are two parts to this product - the charger block, with a cord to the laptop, and an electrical cord that runs between the charger block and the outlet. The charger portion seems to be fine. However, they must have found a very cheap source for the electrical cords. Within days of receiving the first shipment, the outer sleeve of the cord had separated from the plug to the charger, and the colored cords beneath were exposed. We requested a replacement, which they kindly sent us right away. Unfortunately, within a couple of weeks, the same thing had happened - this time at the plug to the wall outlet. We tried to live with it (electrical tape, etc), but unfortunately, the cord shorted out completely. I now have a college student daughter who is unable to use her laptop, because the battery has drained and her charger does not work.I have requested another replacement for the cord, but they want to see another photo first. While I appreciate their willingness to make things right, they clearly have a serious quality issue with this product. Have you ever had an electrical cord to a computer or monitor or charger go bad before? This is my first experience in 30+ years of computer products, and it has happened for two out of two cords. As much as I want another replacement cord, I fear that I will eventually have to get one from another source, or else the problem will repeat again.I cannot with good conscience recommend this product, It would be worth spending a little extra and getting it from another source.
