I didn’t think it was possible to enjoy a protein shake this much, whoever is making this stuff - DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING. PLEASE. I’ve never had a protein powder that: 1.) Mixes/dissolves so easily 2.) Has such a thick and creamy texture even with water (they instruct 4-6oz of water per scoop) 3.) Tastes like a dessert 4.) Does all of the above while still having incredible macros. From what I can tell it’s made with clean, quality ingredients - it’s balanced in sweetness as well and doesn’t go over the top like other shakes do. As a bonus - I have the gene that makes sucralose taste extremely bitter/salty, and I can confirm this protein has none of that for me.

I've done protien supplentation before, but they've always been smaller bottles as I've never really liked the texture or taste. Even those non flavored ones you can just mix with anything are kinda gross. I've been taking other Animal brand supplements for a while, and decided to give this stuff a try. HOLY MACARONI!! THIS STUFF IS DELICIOUS! Not only does it taste great, it mixes and disolves in water super easily. As far as I can tell, the enhanced additives for digestion and BCAAs are high quality. Love that the serving size in just one scoop too, and that it's under 200 calories. If you're looking to stay lean, this is definitely a no filler option. Oh, and the cookies and cream flavor also has little tiny chunks of cookie pieces in it. I don't care for them, I can take them or leave them. Yet, if you're mixing this with milk or taking double servings, they'd probably be a nice addition to a thicker drink. I'll also say, whoever made the call to make the scoops black, this was the right choice. You don't have to smack around the tub for 10 minutes looking for those hard to spot clear scoops than you can never fish out. I shook my tub for 3 seconds after opening it, boom. Saw the scoop right away. All in all, this is a really nice product, easy to mix and easy to use. Don't know why I waited so long to trust Animal protien when I've been taking other supplements from them for some time. 5/5 will continue to trust Animal

High protein content (20 grams per serving). Dissolves quickly and easily. Very sweet and tastes just like a cookies and cream milkshake from a fast food joint. Very clean and full of amino acids. On rest days, one serving is all i go for, but on training days, two scoops or die bro. Feeds my starving muscle children every time. I ran out of the smaller container and instantly purchased the larger one. Stacks well with all the other supplements i have.

I got the vanilla flavor. I use protein supplements occasionally. I like to add them to recipes and this one works well for multiple recipes. I use it when baking for things like pancakes and muffins. I add it to Greek yogurt. I put it in almond milk, mix it, and then add it to iced coffee. I am not a huge fan of this brand mixed with fruit to make a smoothie, but I like it in all the other things I mentioned. I only like it as a smoothie when it's mixed with a banana. Like banana and peanut butter or banana, pumpkin, and cinnamon. It isn't gritty in a smoothie, it just has a strong vanilla flavor that I don't particularly enjoy with berries, but is masked by banana. It does not give me any stomach issues. I do not feel bloated or gassy even on days when I use it in multiple dishes. 1 scoop is 120 calories and 25 grams of protein, which is great because some protein powders require 2 scoops for a serving. As for filling, I find that on days when I have used it I tend to feel more full and satiated, but that could be for a number of reasons, like because on those days I'm eating higher quality foods in general. I do workout and eat healthy in general, but I am not health nut. So my review is mostly for those considering the flavor of it.

I've only tried 2 or 3 brands of whey protein over the years, and after trying a few, I've decided to stick with Animal Whey Isolate Powder mixes. The ingredients seem good, and the flavors are great! "Whey Isolate" is the way to go, and the added ingredients to aid digestion really help. I do not experience any gas, or other digestive issues, like other whey products that have me running for the bathroom. I've been using Animal Whey for the last 5 or 6 years now. I've only tried a few of the flavors though. For a while I was ordering Frosted Cinnamon Bun, which is an excellent flavor choice, if you are into creamy flavors. Then I switched it up to Brownie Batter for years, it's an amazing flavor, with little bits of what look like chocolate chips in there, but I'm not sure XD. With my last order, I decided to go with Cookies & Cream, because it was a bit cheaper than the brownie batter. I just received the package now, and mixed some up for a taste test. It reminds me a bit of the Frosted Cinnamon Bun flavor, but better in some way. I can't place my finger on it. It's got a very creamy flavor to it, and reminds me of "Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme(Cream)" candy bars. That being said, they've nailed the flavor profile again. If you like cookies and cream flavor, you will enjoy this one. Moving forward I'll test out a few more flavors, to add some variety :). From the reviews I've read, and the few I've tried, I think any flavor will be good as long as it's not something you normally distaste. Some folks hate bananas, for those who do, do not order banana flavor and expect a good time XD I normally start my day off by sipping one protein shake after my morning supplements, while I get started working on business projects, checking emails, writing an article, etc. Shortly after that I get out for a hike in nature, or some other exercise if the weather is nasty, then return to work afterwards. I definitely notice the protein shakes hitting me, even as I drink them. Although I am very sensitive to chemical changes in my body, and the resulting change in consciousness. Your results may vary. I definitely notice a difference on the days I miss my morning shake though. It's not a tremendous difference. Though, I do feel a bit off, a bit cranky, and not as much energy/motivation. Depending on how much protein I have gotten in a day, I may have another shake an hour or so before bedtime. I find I even sleep better after a shake, even though it seems like it would be counter intuitive. I've read articles for and against having protein at night. It all depends on where your body is at, and your calorie intake that day. Personally, I'd rather reach for a tasty protein shake, for some night time desert, over some other food that would be worse off eating before bed. My sweet tooth activates some nights... They definitely get 5 stars from me. I don't write reviews often, but felt compelled after trying a new flavor. I've never had any issues, besides the scoop being buried, which happens with any powdered supplement. I just hang onto the scoop from the previous container, until I get down to the one that is in there. If you are looking for a solid protein product, I suggest giving them a try :)
