Super loaf tin, super yummy bread
Jamie’s bread tin is quite a bit heavier, and thicker, than most tins used for bread. Having said that it is a quality, substantial tin. Higher than most bread tins it turns out a much more professional looking loaf. Having used it I can’t bring myself to go back to my original bread tins. I’d definitely purchase another tin in this range. It is a delight to use. One adjustment I have made is to use a pizza stone as I was concerned that the thickness of the tin would mean the bread taking longer to bake, but that could be because my oven doesn’t reach the temperatures it should, it’s on the low side. The other adjustment was to increase my flour content to 400 gm instead of my usual 350/375 gm recipes. 400 gm seems to be the right amount to make a perfect loaf in Jamie’s tin.

Easy to remove bread
Although rather expensive when compared to other brands. it has good depth but a bit lacking in length and breadth compared with my old 2lb tin. Had no issues with non stick falling off so far, bread slides out easily without oil or grease. My only issue is the size, another centimetre on the length and width would have made all the difference.

Forget the celebrity
Despite the celebrity tag, this is a well made, sturdy and robust tin. The non-stick feature is perfect for bread and even after a few uses, the bread falls out and I don't see this changing. Different colour to the silver and black. Feels great quality.

Quality and works well.
Well I got it because it’s deep and so helps shape sandwich type loafs so easily and it works great for this and toast shape square loafs. Colour I don’t care for but if you are bothered or colour matchy matchy to the level of loaf tins then you need professional help. It’s solid and good quality. I like Jamie Oliver too, there I said it, he’s a good fella with as big a heart as any celebrity merch fiend can have so I don’t mind seeing his name and face everywhere.

Nice shape and size but the nonstick coating is coming off after 5 uses and is on my bread!
This loaf tin is a fabulous size and shape, however the non-stick coating is very poor. After it's first use it starting sticking, so third time it was used I made sure to flour to tin well, it still stuck a bit. Next time I had to use a plastic scraper to release it from the tin so this last time I oiled it well before flouring it, with a non gluten flour too. It still stuck a bit and once out of the tin, with a gentle help from a plastic scraper, I see I now have blue nonstick coating on the crust of the bread and can see where the coating is coming off the inside of the tin which looks somewhat scratched by my plastic dough scraper. Very disappointing and not good enough I'd say, I'd expect scratches if I used a anything metal, and I didn't, the coating must be very thin and not fit for purpose, therefore I only award this loaf tin 1 star and say don't bother to buy one unless you are prepared to line the tin each time you use it.

Great tins make great bread
Contrary to what a lot of reviewers have written, I've not had a problem with bread sticking in the tins, though I do coat the tins with a very thin film of oil before putting the dough in the tins. They've seasoned well, and I do give the tins a tap on the side to release the bread from the tin. I bought these in late 2020, and have used them on pretty much a weekly basis since, and they are still going strong. FWIW, a recipe using 500g bread flour is enough to make 2 loaves, as per the photo.

Ticks all the boxes
I've tried many bread baking tins over the years but this one, a recent acquisition, ticks all the boxes. It's a decent size, more like a traditional english loaf with high sides, it bakes the bread evenly and the bread turns out cleanly. I do use a bit of oil on the tin but I'm not sure this is absolutely necessary. I've used it four times so far and there is no signs of degredation of the non-stick coating, but its still early days. This is now my go-to bread mould.
