These bearings are the best you will ever get for the price
I have been skateboarding for more than half of my life (19 years) and have used all the different types of bearings you can imagine, and these are AWESOME. For the price, you cannot go wrong. You can literally buy 4-6 sets of these bearings for the price of one "high end" set of bearings (bones swiss for example.) Two sets of bearings for $12, c'mon. People post reviews on these bearings saying they're just decent or are very slow, this is why:Unlike pretty much any other skate bearings from name brands out there, these particular bearings are lubed with SILICONE, not the thinner light style lubricant. And this is why people are saying they are "slow bearings." Silicone is a very thick lubricant, I believe they lube these bearings with silicone to have a super long lasting style lube, you can either roll with it and use the silicone, or it can EASILY be cleaned out and relubed with 3in1 oil or bones speed cream the traditional way of cleaning skateboard bearings, and these bearings will spin just as fast as any expensive skate bearing out there. They are abec 9 rated, and come with double rubber shields. Do not hesitate buying these bearings, especially if you are trying to save money and setup a lot of skateboards like me.

Install them correctly and they fly.
The bearings are great. I installed them on Sure-Grip motion outdoor wheels 78a hardness. You will probably want to buy spacers so you don't crush the bearings where they will spin slowly. My guess is that is the reason for the bad reviews saying they are slow. If you don't buy the spacers just make sure you tighten them down enough so there is little play in the wheel but spin freely. If you tighten them too much they sure will stop spinning and cause premature wear. I can achieve a speed pretty close to 20 mph on flat ground with these bearings. Not sure how fast people expect out of any bearing but 20 mph on quads is pretty quick in my book. I'm 54 years old so I imagine they can go faster if that's your game. At a price of $12 for 2 quad skates it's a middle of the road price. Enjoy your bearings.

Decent for budget abec 9 bearing
Definitely decent for the price point they for sure roll better than abec 5’s or lower as thats what came stock in my beach bunnies & they sucked I changed them to 11’s. The 11’s are a little better but almost double the price at 19.99 so if these don’t hold up I’ll get more of those. I just didn’t want to have to pop out for different wheels as my Jackson’s came w/indoor wheels and bionic abec 7 bearings very nice 👍🏼 those are $30 though I was being cheap so I can have separate sets for each set of wheels. I would use these again if I’m low on funds and will keep using in my new outdoor wheels but I’m sure will end up buying another set of the 11 bearings or something comparable as the roll is smoother for sure and no noise. I think the speed grease they use is less efficient as others have mentioned so adding some may help & I’ll try that once purchased. If you can it’s probably best to just get a slightly pricier pair from the start, these are cheap enough it was worth a try for me to compare. When shopping I just ensure they are at least abec 7 or above when searching. Brands isn’t a big factor for me after trying the off brand abec 11’s in my beach bunnies like mentioned those are very nice quality all around & would repurchase again for sure just kind of long shipping now. Also worth mentioning these were a little more difficult to get in my new outdoor wheels I had to get on the floor so I could press hard enough with my skate tool and that worked great, without doing that it was taking forever once method changed it was a breeze. Also if your wheels aren’t spinning at all check how tight you installed as that will most definitely keep the wheels from spinning I had to adjust several times to get my preference. So excited roller skating made a comeback I’m 35 & have been skating since I was 10 with a 15 year break recently, it came back so easy especially with proper gear. Sure wish my sister hadn’t lost my riedell carrera though them babies would still be going strong

Pleasantly surprised!
When I got a new set of indoor wheels for my Beach Bunnies, I knew I had to get a new set of bearings if I didn't want to spend half my life popping switching back and forth with the bearings on my outdoor wheels. I was a little nervous buying these since they were so much cheaper than the more expensive brands everyone recommends. I was dubious at first because, off the ground, my wheels did not seem to spin as freely as the bearings with my outdoor wheels did, but as soon as I actually put my skates on and put them to the test for real, I saw I had nothing to worry about. I've been skating on them daily for over a month now and I haven't had any issue with them. Great bearings for roller skates for the price!

Awesome value
These are by far the best cheap 608 size bearings I’ve gotten so far. All the others I’ve tried have had a lot of slop or weren’t smooth enough for my liking, but these are nicely machined. They have a medium thick grease in the balls, but the shields are removable if you want to dissolve the grease with a solvent and use thin oil instead for less friction. I’ll definitely be buying more of these in the future when I run out.
