I have never slept better than how I sleep with the weighted blanket. It is finished well, the weight is well distributed and I love that it does not get too hot on warmer days. I have not washed the removable cover yet, but it seems well made so I have no concerns.The biggest problem for me is that now I never want to get out of bed!

This blanket is a game changer. I’ve always slept poorly until now. I can’t wait to go to sleep. This blanket provides the perfect napping experience for me as well. That has never happened. What can I say, I love my woobie.This blanket is very heavy. I get a little work out just making the bed. My husband doesn’t like covers on, so I doubled it up on my side of the bed and do not toss and turn anymore. Such amazing sleep quality.To me it feels like the x-ray apron they lay on you at the dentist office, only better. It is soft and cuddly and soothing. There hasn’t been a day I haven’t said out loud how much I love my bankie.I will admit I was tempted to return it, but I am so glad I didn’t. This is the best investment I’ve made this year.There are other reviews that say this more eloquently, but this is one item I can no longer live without.

I’m not one to write reviews often, but this blanket has me up late at night wanting to share my personal experience with everyone.I’ll be honest, the thought of a “weighted blanket” at first seemed like a gimmick and I was extremely skeptical. First off, I am a fan of Kickstarter products - but I promise I am not biased.I did tons of research and decided to bite the bullet on the infamous Gravity Blanket. Before sleeping with a weighted blanket I dealt with some major sleeping issues. More than anything, I was having frequent panic attacks and anxiety episodes while trying to fall asleep. Nothing seemed to help, melatonin, meditation, nothing. Every night it was the same tossing and turning, elevated heart rate and shortness of breath. I turned to the Google’s to find some sense of relief and comfort and someone online recommended trying a weighted blanket.First thought when I opened this blanket was, wow this thing is heavy. “How am I ever going to get used to sleeping under it?” Second thought was “this is high quality and so soft.” It did take some getting used to. The first few nights it did feel weird. Almost like I was stuck in quick sand.After a few nights, I started noticing all it took was for me to put my phone down, roll over to my side, take some deep breaths and BOOM, I was out.It’s been about a month now - my sleep has never been better. My anxiety issues at night have almost completely went away. My sleep quality has improved (less waking up) and my snoring and tossing and turning has went way down (according to my partner).Here I am currently, laying under the blanket, feeling warm, relaxed, typing this review for the internet to read. In a nutshell - this gravity blanket has done more for me than any pill, breathing technique or therapy session could have done. I hope sharing my personal story with everyone helps at least one other sleepless person dealing with similar issues I dealt with. This purchase has been THE best purchase of 2021 and it was worth every penny.

This is a high quality, 4.5 star product.However, I regret going for the heavier version. I had assumed, based on recommendations on blanket weight vs body weight, that this was for the smaller single-size. Being twice as large, I opted for the extra heavy for the same effect as a smaller blanket.This is a very good weighted blanket.But it is so heavy (especially with the extra length folded over on top), that it can almost make you panic. But only after giving you a full body HIT training workout when trying to make your bed. (Be sure the bed is made before getting a shower, or you might want another after!).Everything becomes easy after a week though. And it is a welcome comfort, although having a weighted blanket half this weight (15-18lb instead if 30lb?) would probably be more comfortable. This makes turning over in your sleep almost impossible. So, You end up waking up a lot of you want to move.Note: It does sleep warmer than a sheet alone, but nowhere near as hot as you would expect. Glass beads don't insulate very well. Unless you place a comforter overtop, with a sheet underneath. Then it becomes unbearably warm due to the trapped layer in between. This is probably great in the winter with cooler overnight thermostat settings.Whatever temp you prefer, it will probably need to be lowered 2-5 degrees with this. Especially in summer.Overall, a good product. But I suggest going for a mid-weight, not the heaviest or lightest version. You want a density which has the benefits of a heavy comforter, but you also have to pick it up off the floor, or roll over at night without assistance sometimes.

My first night was great. I keep wanting to go back to bed for more! Everything was as described I never thought I’d want or need a heavier blanket because the 15 lb is not easy yo move around, but somehow I think it would and very well may double up and gift this one to a friend half my size lol. Not sorry at all with this purchase the quality is all there, I only wish it was filled with crystals like rose quarts to really help the sleep healing and vibe up. I will definitely add to this review if I notice and good or bad changes as this was quite a chunk of money to spend, but sofar not sorry.

Purchased this for my son to help with anxiety sleep issues. He loves it and uses it every night.
