Elegant Bird Feeder
Love the look of this feeder and the birds love how it allows 6 birds at a time on it. Note: Chipmunks also like it, but it is squirrel safe. RE: Design: I'd suggest they move the bottom up closer to the lowest perch. As it is, extra bird seed sits in the bottom and birds can't get to it, then it gets moldy, stuck together and nasty. So it has to be cleaned out each time I add new bird seed. But we do love watching the birds enjoy it.

Feed Your Peace of Mind - and the Birds
This bird feeder is Amaze-Balls! Seriously. The finches here in Maryland love it! The best part is that they can get the feed, but not spill it over, causing a mess, and Ticking me the heck off!!!!! Oops. I’m sorry y’all had to experience that. Anyways. Like I said, the finches love it and it is very beautiful. I recommend you getting a good, sturdy shepherds hook to hang this one. It’s a big bird feeder, but easy to take off the hook and fill up since the top flips open. And it is waterproof - the feed will not get gross. Really good find if you can get this feeder.

Disappointed birdies.
The first feeder was handsome and sturdy so I purchased a second. It too looked handsome and sturdy but unbeknownst to me, it was flawed. The quality control must have been asleep. I proceeded to fill the feeder with thistle seed only to have it run out of one of the bottom feeding stations. Seems the clear plastic insert was installed upside down funneling all the feed directly on the floor. What a mess and waste! The insert must be glued in place as I could not correct it. Not one to go to all hassle to send the feeder back, I simply taped over faulty feeding station and chalked up another win to the “friendly Chinese.” The birds are now missing the use of one feeding station and they are pissed.

Good quality bird feeder very attractive.
very nice looking bird feeder. For the most part I agree with the other reviews I did have to bend in the top of the decorated steel to keep the birds from getting their heads caught in there some cut there's off I just bended them in. Also it is squirrel proof for now. See video. This is a very good quality bird feeder. It is only meant for smaller birds I did cut a few openings along where the perches are as well. For the most part it was very simple task and the tweaks made it even better.

You must clean every 2 weeks - and almost impossible to clean
I missed reading other reviews - I regret that now. The design is defective in that there is no way to remove the plastic cylinder to clean it and no way for the birds (or me) to get to the seeds at the bottom of the tube. The only way to get old seed out of the bottom is to hold the unit upside down and spray a steam of water up into the cylinder, hoping to dislodge the old seeds. I realized the problem as soon as I opened the carton and saw the manufacturer's sticker on the bottom saying that the feeder must be emptied and cleaned every two weeks. I immediately requested a return/refund from the seller. The seller replied the next business day and informed me that it is my responsibility to cover the cost of return postage. It turns out that the least expensive return postage (USPS Parcel Post) would have come to $3.00 more than the refund. It seems I'm stuck with a bird feeder that fits well in the too-hard-to-do box. The feeder looks nice....I wish it worked!

Lots of tweaking, but it works wonderfully now!
This feeder is solidly constructed of quality metal and is attractive, and the squirrels can't get to the food! That's where the good news ends, however. The design also prevents birds from accessing the seed, too! The lid, as someone else pointed out, does not fit well. The latch did not hold, but that was an easy fix: just bend it some. The real problem is that the lid's circumference is equal, not greater than, the tube, so water gets in. I managed a fix to that by cutting out a round plastic disk from a yogurt container. (The disk is slightly larger than the tube so the overhang works as a roof to prevent water from leaking in. It's not a perfect circle, as I had to notch out some places to allow for the hinges on the feeder to operate properly. The bonus is that the added thickness of the plastic lid serves as a gasket keeping the lid locked down tightly.)So that solved the leaking problem, but birds can't access this now-guaranteed-to-be-dry seed! Out came the wire cutters, and after a LOT of muscling (there's some really good metal used on this bird feeder!), I was able to create larger openings for the birds to access the inner seed tube - at least the 3 feeding holes at the bottom row; the top row feeder holes are tucked in behind the upper band of scrollwork, so they are accessible only to the tiniest of birds, of which we have no such sweeties in our neighborhood - yet. The bottom row seems adequate, however. Also, one of the perches was missing, so my husband was able to dislodge one from one of the holes in the upper row and move it into a bottom row hole - perfect! The feeder is so attractive! I love the patina'd look and the delicate cut-out adornment - not too froofroo, but it adds a nice touch of class. It's been up for more than a week after the "surgery," and so far the birds love it and the squirrels still leave it alone, so that's good news (compared to the 10 days of "no takers" at all before surgery). You can see in the photo that another feeder (visible just behind this one) is still full, while the birds have nearly emptied this one, and it's been filled two times! At only $15 prime, it easily compares to much more expensive feeders, but seriously! The work to get it to that point may not be your cup of tea. I love problem solving and tinkering, but that was an afternoon of no housework getting done. (Hey...! This bird feeder company may be on to something!) ;-)

Stylish and functional makes a perfect choice for home as well as a gift
Not your every day feeder, it holds enough feed that your not refilling it every day, enjoy watching squirrels get very frustrated and it beautiful hanging near the house a great conversation piece as well I really love it. You won’t find this in a big box store either if you enjoy unique you’ll love it too

Very pretty and the little birds seem to really like it.
Some of the reviews seem to have had problems with this feeder. I have had none. It is very pretty, the birds (the small ones that I wanted this feeder for) seem to really like it, it is very easy to fill, and seems to be sturdy so far. If there is anything that might not be completely perfect I guess it might be the fact that at the lower level perches there is some amount of the bird seed column that is lower than they can reach. But that is such a minor issue that I wouldn't even deduct one point from the rating. I love the feeder and it is exactly what I needed. Thank you.
