Awesome Stuff
I read plenty if reviews of this stuff having never tried it before. I got the impression it would be difficult to squeeze our the tube...contrary to belief I managed to use a full tube with ease. I even used a smaller nozzle than that provided to get into some smaller joints and had zero issues. It dries a colour you'd expect and can be massaged into uneven joints (sandstone coping stones) with little mess. I used a finger to get a reasonably decent finish and returned about 10 minutes later to give it a final finish and smooth any bumpy joints. It does set in no more than 15 minutes (in the shade) so I can imagine once a tube is opened you're committed to using it all or scrapping any remaining.

Surprisingly good
I used it to repoint some ridge tiles and pointing on a chimney stack. After reading reviews i had some concerns but thought the positive reviews outweighed the negative. Tbh, I was very happy with the performance. I made sure the surfaces were clean and slightly damp. I used a metal caulk gun and was pleased that the mortar came out surprisingly easily and the tube width was good and wide to fit 10mm gaps nicely. Gravity will pull at the pointing so care is needed to ensure it is squeezed directly into the recesses. The colour is a mid grey and was a good colour match. Ive purchased 5 more tubes to finish the job. I'd definitely recommend it.

Bostik points the way!
This is an excellent product for small repairs. Dries quickly to a grey colour and is of sufficient hardness. I am no expert but I would have liked it to have been slightly more moist and therefore pliable but I still give it 5 stars for ease of use. Excellent for DIY novices like myself. I now know exactly the texture and thickness it should be if I am making it up from dry mix myself.

It's good Mortar
I did actually complete the step repointing job I set out to do using this cartridge and it looks good. But what a faff. I don’t believe mortar was ever designed to be applied from a tube as by its very thick and gritty consistency it’s not going to readily slide out of a fairly narrow outlet. The actual mortar itself is good quality but using a cartridge/nozzle to apply it just does not work. I tried it, hoping it would be an easy and very quick fix for my step but as it was so damned hard to come out of the nozzle I’ll be going back to the” old-fashioned” way and mix up my own mortar, apply it with a trowel and then point it. It gets the 3* purely because of the Mortar quality otherwise it was a 1 *.

Cement in squirty tube - amazing idea
Bought to fill holes where someone has drilled through the wall to fit outside lights but the hole is no longer needed. To repair as an amateur and make the end result looks invisible would be unbelievably challenging. Cue this product. Outstanding results and incredibly easy to do. My only criticism is that it's incredibly expensive for the volume of cement, but for targeted repairs its an outstanding product

Difficult to work with mastic gun
Only gets 4 stars as , reviewed by others it was extremely difficult to get the cement to come out using mastic gun. Used on a few small areas which were tough enough, but had to cut full end off to use on a larger gap that I found, fortunately used it all in one go. On a positive it went on well and has hardened up very quickly with a reasonable match to existing mortar

Great for small repairs
But quite pricey for actual repointing... better to make the right mix if you have a big job to do, but we had a few broken bricks from some numbskull previous Tennant putting up a hanging basket which was too heavy for the wall so the long nozzle really helped to get mortar in around a new brick which thankfully we had found in a pile of rubble from extension next door. Don't quite colour match the 60 yr old mortar but you have to look pretty close to tell

Hard, dry and almost impossible to apply.
This item was one of the worst products I have used. I needed to make good a short length of mortar, which had been removed when some scaffolding was taken away. I bought this brand because it seems to be well known and widely respected. However, I found the contents of the tube incredibly hard to squeeze out. It literally hurt my hand, it was so difficult. When it did come out of the nozzle the mortar was hard and very dry. There was no smooth run, as I had expected. Instead it came out in hard lumps, which immediately fell to the ground, as it would not adhere to anything. I ended up pushing the mortar into the gap with my finger, as it was the only way I could get it to stay in. A very poor product. I would definitely not recommend it.
