Reliable and easy to set up
The alarm is easy to set up. It has three volume settings: loud, loudest, and hearing damage!! To silence the alarm there's a big button on the front or you can use the app from your phone. This alarm is especially useful for anyone in your home- for us it's an essential addition because we don't always have our phones nearby.

Great Backup Notification!
Easy to connect and works very well! I needed something that would give an audible alarm for in the middle of the night or if I’m unable to let my family know I received an alert. This works perfect and is loud enough to alert anyone at home there is an issue.

Might be difficult to make this work for you
YoSmart technical support has been AMAZING to deal with. After reading my review, they've been proactively emailing me and working on a fix, which works for one alarm. Now i want it to work for two. I'm upgrading this to 4 stars and will give them a fifth when the last issue is resolved! Way to go, YoSmart.Like all YoSmart products, this installs flawlessly and works like a champ! Having said that, however, I am finding this difficult to work in my scenario. If there is a way to make this work, I'll upgrade my rating. Here is the scenario:I have a yolink siren, water sensor, and door sensor.I want the water sensor to sound the siren, always, when it detects waterI want the door sensor sound the alarm only when I am out or sleeping. Not when I'm home. Here is the issue. YoSmart automation is very limiting. It does let me enable or disable the siren based on "home/out/sleep/wake", but it disables the entire siren. I don't want to disable the entire siren, just the doors. You'd think this is a pretty simple use case but for some reason I can't make it work. Sure, I can use a schedule but that's not what I want. I want to be able to disable the door alarms when I'm home and I can't seem to make that work. Perhaps I can use an Alexa or IFTTT automation to accomplish this, but I would really like to keep all this functionality in one place....

Yolink Smart Siren
The siren connects and performs very well. Sound quality is low to mid quality. Why the 3-star review? Well, it looks like a prototype rather than a finished product. It uses Micro USB Micro. This is 2025, NOTHING should come with Micro USB. Why does this matter you ask? It is hard to find good cables that are shorter or right angled in white. For USB-C (today's standard), these cables are easy to find. Many devices today have neat mounts that hide the cables. Look up mounts for Nest Mini, EERO, Echo Dot, Blink Sync Module etc. They all have mounts that either completely hide the cables or greatly diminish the cable profile. There are a couple mounts that I think would ALMOST work for this. However, the cables that come with them are...you guessed it, USB-C. This device has a huge USB wall adapter that the USB cable plugs into in a way that has a big profile (not flat or 90 degree) and a long cable. It is an absolute eye sore. Yolink should develop and sell or ask a third party to develop and sell a clean wall mount for this.Overall, performance is fine. Aesthetics and finish are not quite there.

I like the fact this has a switch on the side to change volume!
I’m totally blind! The first thing I noticed about this when I took it out of the box. I noticed a switch on the left side of it and that it had a screw hole on the back to mount it on a wall. I next felt around on the back and found the battery cover. I wondered what the slide switch was for being it has 4 point altogether. So I put 2 AA batteries in it and nothing happened. So I slide the switch up one spot and the siren sounded. I slid it up another spot and the siren got louder! And the top spot is the loudest setting. I really like that. Makes it easy for a totally blind person to be able to set the volume without having to guess how to set the volume.I also noticed that the Micro USB port is on the left side as well. My own thinking is I think that the port really should have been on the bottom. That away when it is put on a wall, the cable comes out the bottom and not the left side.On the front of the unit is a button in the middle. This button looks to manually start or stop the siren.Took the batteries back out of it and then scanned the QR code on the siren and plugged it into USB power and the unit came online to the hub. Then I put the batteries back in and plugged it back into USB power. The rest of the stuff as far as I can tell, needs to be done from within the App. Looks like you can set the siren to sound anyware from 10 seconds to never shut off.You can also control the siren with Alexa if you have your YoLink account connected up to Alexa. Alexa turn on Siren. Alexa turn off siren. You can also use it in Alexa Routines as well. The YoLink App. As far as automation needs improvement for a totally blind person to use that function of the App. There are unlabeled button in the screen that make it so a totally blind person trying to setup automation for the siren to have to do it by trial and error. But I did get it done. I currently have it setup to turn on the siren when the motion detector that is in the mailbox triggers. It is responcive when motion is detected. It triggers about 3 seconds before the Alexa routine announces that the mailbox door is open!
