Pad is scratchy need something on top of pad which kinda defeats the purpose.

I don't have full night sweats- just every once in a while and from my waist to my feet. This pad does pull the heat from you and keep you cool.I was happy with the results.

Use Cool Pad for sitting & laying on. Best product for the price! Great for driving too, especially long trips. Just keep out of sun. Great investment!

This product is great, for about 2 weeks. Beware...this gets COLD for the first several uses! At least for the first couple hours of the night. I suppose it does what it's meant to do. I was able to use blankets again without night sweats, but not for the entire night. When you first lay down on this, it's crunchy. Odd. But, I suppose that's what releases the chemicals to make it chilly. By the time you wake up at 3am, you're laying on a warm, soft surface, and you'll need to toss off the covers again. It'll also take all day to "re-charge." After just a few weeks' use, it only gets cool. Nowhere near as cold as those first few nights. I haven't sent it back yet. I do enjoy those first few cooler hours of sleep, but at the price, I expected so much more.

I sleep on this thing nightly. At first, it is pleasantly cool, stuffed under two thin sheet layers. Sometime during the night, however, it becomes a sweaty, unbreathing plastic sheet. A similar product for my pillow does not do that. But that could be because it is on my pillow.I put it under two layers of sheets because it was simply too cold initially.

I'm having night sweats and hot flashes and am waking up about every two hours during the night.I was so excited to get this and try it out. I layed down on it the first night and it was wonderful...it was cool until I woke up about 3 hours later hot as all get out.I tried one more night and I bet with in 45 minutes, it started to warm up and that was it for the night.I would have paid three times that much for this product if it would have worked and stayed cool through the night....oh well, time to try something else.

I have terrible night sweats which interrupt my sleep. This product is not user friendly although a great concept. Crystals are very crunchy. Support material is very stiff. Like sleeping on layers of newspapers with tiny rocks. The crystals only turn cool after they are "activated" which means they have to be popped by your body weight (think of breaking an emergency ice pack). The cool sensation only lasts a few minutes (and only in certain spots) and then its back to being hot again. I do not recommend this product.
