Havells Immersion heater HP15 Auto 1500 Watts (Blue) Plastic

I have been using this Havells immersion heater for the last 8 days and I’m really satisfied with its performance. The build quality is strong and feels durable. It heats 25L water in around 15 minutes, which is very impressive. Specially the auto cut-off system is the best feature — once the water reaches high temperature, the heater automatically switches off. This makes it very safe and convenient to use. Definitely value for money and a trusted product for daily home use. Highly recommended…👍🏻

I received a defective product but replaced very fastly, thanks to amazon, and product worked with good condition. Nice product from havells.

I am writing this product review after 4.5 years, this water heater is really of good quality, a bucket water will be heated in just 15 minutes. Today, water heater has stopped working after we got some electric sparks from it, and I am satisfied with this product as it worked fine without causing any issues in these 4.5 years.

The company falsely claims to provide free service. However, I was charged ₹200 for the electrician’s home visit. This is completely misleading. The product quality is extremely poor. It stopped working within just 20 days of purchase. Despite repeated follow-ups, the issue is still unresolved. The after-sales service is highly disappointing and unprofessional. I had shortlisted a few more items from this brand, but after this experience, I deleted the entire list. I do not want any further headaches in the future. I do not even feel like giving one star. I strongly do not recommend this product to anyone. It is a total waste of money and time.

I bought this Havells Immersion Heating Rod for the winters (obviously). It has lots of good feature like Auto-cut, temperature control, handel support and nickel for corrosion resistance (Not entirely corrosion proof but it will resist it much longer) and sturdy design. Once you set your desired temperature, it auto-cut once the water temperature attained your desired settings which is cool, no need to keep an eye on the whole process but be careful as it will restart after the cut off so it's better to remove the immersion rod (with care) before it gets restarted. Usually it will restart under 10-30 seconds so you better take care of that. Always first remove the socket (which is of very good quality) from the plug board them remove the immersion rod. It is not waterproof so the immersion should not immerged into the water. Although It is shockproof which is good, no need to worry about current but I advise that you should not touch the water while it is heating the water. You can use it in plastic as well as in non-plastic bucket. It is a 1500 watts heating rod which is recommended to use if you don't have geyser. Don't go for 1000 watts immersion rod as it will increase your electricity bill. It is recommended to go for 1500 to 2000 watts heating rod to save some penny in the electricity bill. Last but not the least, like every other heating rod, it has too scaling issues (The rod turns all white and breaks if it attached with lots of salts which is present according to the water type (Hard or Soft)) and there number of ways you can slow it and I advise you to check for those ways. I exclude dry heating method to remove scaling because it will damage the heating rod and you won't get the warranty for the same so it is advised to use it properly. You should register the product online to get faster warranty claims on their official website. It's worth it. Overall my experience with this product is superb and it works well. Geyser has it own advantages and this heating rod has it's own. It is pocket friendly so I gone for this one. Conclusion: You can check out 2000 watts Heating Rod if you want and can stick to this one as you prefer. The price to performance ratio is the excellent. You can definately go for it 👌🏻.

It has the two most distinctive, vital features, not offered by other brands, the three variable heat settings and the Auto Cut-off option. If you use this safety-first Havells HP 15 Auto with due caution, you will get your bucket of warm or hot water, in good time, with no real risk. No matter which brand and type of immersion heater is bought and used, reading, understanding and following the guidelines and instructions given in the User Booklet is very essential, important and necessary. Such an electric appliance must always be used very carefully, never casually. The icing on the cake is that this one from Havells India also has an attractive design and look, easy on the eye!
