Warning! Beware of how they ship it!
The roll that I paid a lot of money for was Damaged from shipping it in a bag.This 3M tape can be dented by dropping or mishandling it. The tape is Aluminum Metal that can be bent & dented. I had to peel off half of the roll and throw it in the trash. I needed it to finish a job and could not send it back for a replacement. Very Unhappy with the seller and cost me half the money I paid for the roll.I use the tape for composite work and have been using it for over 50 years. Never have I bought a roll that was damaged like the one I bought on Amazon. I'm out at least $45 worth of material on the roll.

Stove tape
Technical specifications refer to this particular 3M product as the tape to use for installation of an electric hob (cooktop) in a solid surface counter. It is thicker than any alternatives that I found, and even at this thickness the requirement is for 2 layers. The only source I found was on-line, the product arrived timely and in good condition.

Can build anything with it!
Used this in the aerospace industry and we called it speed tape I guess because you can put it on and it can handle high speed air loading or maybe because you can fix something fast with it??? Who knows all I can tell you is that this stuff is awesome!!! It sticks to almost everything and once it is applied it does not peel away. It handles heat very well (taped my exhaust together for welding). You can shape it, drape it and scrape it. You can fold it, mold with it and hold with it. Its just great stuff!!!
