Really helpful after hip replacement
The shoe horn seemed a bit short to be of much use to me. The sponge was super handy. The grabber works pretty decent, feels a little on the flimsy side but so far it has served the purpose. A few times I have had to manually fix the end where it slightly goes to side n won’t open backup, but overall it has been a good grabber. The clothes helper has been good but I have found myself using the grabber more for pulling up clothing. The star is the sock helper in my mind. I have had trouble bending for socks/shoes for years and there is a little learning curve but after a few tries it becomes easy. Just make sure you get the sock all the way on/ the toe is completely as far back as you can get it and should have no trouble. Overall this was very handy and I am really glad I bought it. If you are having any kind of hip or probably knee surgery I would recommend.

Everything to make you able to do the basics
I had a hip replacement a few months back. My wife was having difficulty with the compression stockings. The sock tube is the best ! I used the hook rod to help get dressed, didn’t need my wife to help me with my underwear ; ). The bath sponge helped washing my lower limbs and back. Long shoe horn- I’m still using for my everyday shoes. I highly recommend this kit for anyone who is getting or has had a hip replacement.

Good products for the price
It was recommended by my PT person that I purchased this product after having a major back surgery. I like the length of the shoehorn and it is very helpful to get shoes on as well as picking things up with a little extra hook on the end. The grabber tool or cloth tool works really well in the very beginning but now several weeks later, it seems to be wearing out a little bit. It just doesn’t seem to have that grip to hold onto things as it did in the beginning. I wear short socks, so unfortunately, the sock tool does not help with the type of socks that I have but once winter comes if I still need it, I will have it for my longer socks. But if not, use the bathing sponge because I already have something that I like much better

Worth the purchase
I bought this set because my hip therapist recommended it. I never used the shoe horn. And I never used the back scrubber, that’s what my wife was for.The sock assist device actually worked very well. The stick with the hooks on it?? I used it to help me with my underwear and pants. It was a very good thing to help me with independence of doing it myself.I used the clawed grabber for the first few days after my surgery and it worked well too.

It is perfect I use all that is included in helps a lot after my hip surgery. It came in really fast

I just had back surgery and all of these devices were very helpful during my recovery for dressing and undressing.

Some great and not so great tools
I recently had a spinal fusion and wanted to be prepared since I can’t bend, lift or twist for 6 weeks.The Reacher is a little short. To pick up items off the floor I need to bend at the knees which is really hard on the knees. The reacher is 26 inches in length so if you’re are tall you want a longer tool. I am 5’ 7”. For reaching for something on the same level it-works great.The dressing stick is honestly my best friend right now. It has a plastic coating on the ends to not scratch up your furniture or faucets. It works great for pulling the stopper up on the tub spout to start the shower, pull my socks on, grab clothing to pull up. The L bracket lifts the toilet seat, open drawers.The washing sponge is useless because the plastic handle is so flimsy and sponges tend to accumulate mold and bacteria so not something you want to use with an incision. So plan on buying a real one. Found a great one on Amazon for about $10The tool to help put your socks on is too smooth so the sock slides off before you get the sock over your heel but that’s where the dressing stick comes in handy. I loop the hook through the sock and pull it the rest of the way on. Although I might need new socks by the time I’m done because they are getting small holes from the hook.I haven’t had a use for the extended shoe horn so far.All in all if you can buy some of the useful item separately might be the best way to go

It was great for the time I had rehabilitation. But I can see it come hand when Im older.
