Smaller than you think, but works very well
I grow coffee in Kona, Hawaii and needed a scale to use for processing coffee. My wife did not like me continuously borrowing hers. I ordered this one and did not spend a lot of time looking at dimensions. I just needed a simple, cheap scale. The scale base is smaller than you expect and the two plastic trays are also smaller than I thought. Still, it works very well and any bin, cup, or basket which will balance on the weighing plate will work. The scale is consistent across several weighings and a test of a known weight showed it to be accurate.

Accurate
When looking for a digital scale, I read some of the negative reviews, that this scale was inaccurate. So when I got it, I tested it. First picture is 20 cent coins, each with a weight of 2.5g. The scale shows 50g as expected. The second picture has 8 nickels (5 g each) and 24 cent coins, and the scale shows 100g. So I conclude that the scale is as accurate as its specification. During my test I did find one cent coin with the weight of 3.1 g, so you can't always trust that the coins lives up to specifications. Maybe it was dirty or something, but I had 24 other coins that weigh exactly 2.5g, so it isn't the scale that is the problem.

I like it better then the slightly more accurate pl50 model
I have a Fuzion pl50 that is supposed to be much more accurate, but this one seems to work better in some respects. though not as accurate, (+-.3 grams vs .003 grams) this one works right out of the box. I didn't need to calibrate it at all or wait for it to heat up. with the pl50, I have to calibrate it nearly every time I use it, and I have to wait until it warms up before I get an accurate reading. I used a 50 gram weight on this larger scale, and it said exactly 50 gram. I am very happy with this scale. I use it for weighing 10 ounce silver bars and it seems accurate. I also like how sturdy it feels.

Excellent value for home coffee use
This is an excellent affordable scale for home coffee making (what I use it for). I think the nicest feature of it is it’s speed to tare and the speed with which it reads off new changes to the weight. Both are super helpful when weighing out grounds into a portafilter or trying to track output of a shot of espresso. Its accuracy is also a plus. The only gripe I have with the scale is the digital screen: it has pretty limited viewing angles. When it’s sitting on the drip tray of an espresso machine you have to be just at the right angle to be able to read off your weight.Overall you can’t get a better scale that measure to the tenth of a gram at this price point. If you’re making espresso or filter coffee at home, skip the acaia, skip the brewista, skip the hario, this is all you need.

A scale to dye for
I dye yarn in the proportion 1 g dye to 100 g yarn. I usually use multiple colors on one skein of yarn, so I need to be able to measure both dye and yarn accurately. I use the small tray with a nut-cup on it for the dye and the larger tray for cakes of yarn. With my previous scale equal parts red and blue did not make true purple. A range of volumes would still record as one gram. After I bought this scale, which is accurate to 0.1 g, my colors mix true. When it has been tared, it holds that value in memory, which I had not expected. It is very reasonably priced. It says it will measure 3000 g. Someday I will see if I can really put 30 skeins of yarn on it. I think I would need a bigger tray.

Great for counting macros and food intake
My girlfriend and I use this to weigh all our food. It's very accurate, easy to use, and can zero it's current weight easily to keep adding ingredients as you go. It's also small enough to fit into a back pocket, or jacket, or purse - my girlfriend put it in her jacket pocket when we went to get ice-cream so we could weigh our portions. :PMy only thought on how it could improve: the face is sometimes hard to read when putting a large bowl on top to hold liquids etc. There are other, larger food scales that do that, so I still give this 5 stars. It's an awesome little scale.

mixing epoxy, ant bait, Dakin's solution
I already had a scale that reads in grams to 5,000, but sometimes I need tenth-gram precision. When I mix epoxy products like JB Weld, it’s hard to tell by looking if I've squeezed out equal amounts. If I weigh and I need only 1 gram of each, I need a scale that reads tenths.Household ants usually like sugar syrup. If it contains borax, it can exterminate a nest. I make approximately a teaspoonful, warming it in a metal poaching cup placed momentarily on a burner. I want it to cool to the consistency of molasses. Without a scale that would read tenths, it took was hard to get the right ratio of water and sugar. The amount of borax also matters. With too little, they could keep coming back for days. With too much, they probably wouldn't eat it.With the scale, I've found that it works if I start with a certain amount of sugar, say 2.0 grams, add half as much water, say 1.0 grams, and 1/10 as much borax, say 0.2 grams. The scale will let me refine the recipe, adjusting the water for just the right consistency and increasing the borax for faster action. If the ants don't eat it, I can cut back on the borax.Dakin's solution is the best stuff I've found for treating wounds and infections. It’s household bleach diluted to 0.5% and buffered to a pH of about 10. Dakin preferred borates. Research a century ago showed that Dakin's with 1.5% borax was still at full strength after a month on the shelf. (Shelf life is probably better nowadays. Bleach manufacturers use purer salt, and cold tap water is less likely to sit in metal pipes.)Dakin’s solution costs about $20 a pint, but half a pint can be made with 2¢ worth of bleach and 1¢ worth of borax. My bleach jug is labeled 6.0%. Dakin’s is 1/12 that strong, so I need 1 part bleach to 11 parts water. For a cup, that would be 20 ml of bleach in 220 ml of water. Graduated cylinders can measure fluid nicely, but I need a scale that can weigh 3.6 grams of borax. The scale came with two transparent trays. The smaller can be inverted and fitted over the platform to protect it from being pushed. The larger can be placed over the whole scale. That will protect it on the counter, and a rubber band will hold it on so that the whole thing can be stashed, even in a pocket. It's about the size of a peanut butter sandwich. My old scale shuts off in 2 minutes. Once it caught me in the middle of adding an ingredient to a recipe. I would have been in a jam if I hadn’t noted the last reading. The Fuzion stays on for 3 minutes. That’s much safer. The Fuzion provides a choice of 6 weight units. While clicking through them, I discovered the thing I don't like about the scale. The backlight is cobalt blue. The low contrast is okay for reading the digits but unpleasant for reading the little letters. I much prefer the near-white backlight of my old scale.Update: One day after two years, I needed 0.3 gram of borax to make a little ant bait. The scale was no longer sensitive enough to measure it. I knew I hadn't dropped it, and I don't think I'd put too much weight on the platform. In two years, perhaps airborne contaminants had dirtied the moving parts. Cleaning might have fixed it, but I couldn't get it apart.I bought this one:<https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MPXSRK9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1>It works better than the old one worked when new, and the case may offer better protection from contaminants in the air.

Useless
Gives completely inconsistent results. I can take an item off the scale and put it back on, then receive a completely different reading, off by several grams. Yet alone decimal places.

Great scale but check size before ordering
I love this scale so much I bought two, (one for me, one for mom). I love that you can measure food directly on the plate by using the tare function. It's great for measuring food. Be careful because it is very small (I didn't read description and was disappointed when I first got it) but it can still measure food perfectly and is easy to store because of small size. Only issue is if you use a big plate to hold food you may have difficulty reading the scale measurements (because plate will hide screen) so you'll need to move the plate a bit to be able to see the screen. Overall I'm really happy with this product!

inaccurate readings
I had to return the product the next day I received it. The weighing reading is totally off. Firstly it doesn't start at zeor even after waiting for a couple of seconds and even if it does, it gives totally wrong reading. I weighed same thing (mini cucumber), multiple times after resetting the scale, every time the reading was way off. It would weigh the same product differently 2nd time and the difference was fro 20 to 30 grams-each time. sometimes the digits kept increasing without adding or touching the scale and the reading would be totally off!

Good unit for the price. High capacity nice for kitchen.
It’s 3kg capacity is nice for weighing/taring full glass jars. Easy to use. Nice lit up display with multiple units. Comes with 2 convenient trays. Accurate enough for what I need but seems to be off by about <0.1g. Wouldn’t use it for trade, but it’s $21...Would recommend and buy again.

Overall, great scale for the price.
Ordered yesterday. Arrived today. Overall, it's a great little product. Very compact, easy to use. Love the ability to tare. I purchased this to monitor my pet hedgehog's weight and it seems to be accurate enough for that purpose.Since it is a relatively small scale, it can be tricky to access the buttons or see the screen if you need to measure larger items. For example, if using in the kitchen, it would measure things in a measuring cup well, but perhaps not in a mixing bowl (due to the size and how it would sit over and block the screen).I am not entirely sure about the durability of the two plastic trays/dust covers. Although they came with a small piece of protective plastic wrap when packaged, it did not cover the edges of the trays. Both of my trays arrived with a small, but noticeable, scuff along a small section. They are not cracked, and will still do well for weighing items and covering the scale when not in use, but it was just an aesthetic flaw that I noticed when unpacking everything.
