You will learn parts of the dobro, proper right and left hand technique, how to use the bar, how to read tab, and tuning. You will then learn how to play some famous bluegrass tunes. All of the songs on the DVD are performed at two speeds to help you practice and progress. About the Actor David Ellis is a multi-instrumentalist from Atlanta, GA. He plays resophonic guitar or Dobro®, banjo, guitar, fiddle, & mandolin. David has been playing professionally and teaching for 29 years. He currently plays Dobro® in bluegrass groups Cedar Hill & Pony Express and with acoustic country rock trio 3 Way Street.

For square neck resonators
I was hoping this would be ok for playing my round neck resonator in regular under the arm or Spanish style.Seems you have to set up for a different tuning too. There should have been a warning.
