Decent value in mask extenders, got me thru working height of COVID in a hospital, makes masks more positionable so your face and ears get less irritated when wearing for extended periods. These are less pricey, but I found the potential for Velcro to hook on hair and other items, and a lack of a way to "set" a position for reuse limited their convenience when compared to some other, more expensive options. The simplicity, however, makes them worth having as they can be repurposed for many fastening uses.

I just tried this for the first time. I am an average size woman. I had to put this on the tightest velcro to get it to fit. I am not sure if I am going to like it as it seemed to put pressure on neck even though it was not super tight. I am keeping it though as I am going to use on a long airplane ride and trip where I am going to have to wear masks a lot and I think it will give me some relief from the pain the masks cause on my ears. I have to wear the KN95 masks. I am thinking once I am in my seat on the airplane I can even loosen more and let the mask stay on my nose and mouth. If you are a small person it might be too big for you. You have to at least clasp one side on the mask before putting on. I have long hair so that will be hard to do too. Still worth trying.

After 4 years I have finally found a strap I can use behind my head to take the ear loops out from behind my ears when I'm wearing a mask. These straps are easy to use, very well designed and constructed, and very comfortable.

Great product that I have purchased before for $2.98, I went to reorder and now $7.99almost triple the price. Are kidding me? No way!

I was pleasantly surprised by these extenders!I was worried that they might catch in long hair, but it’s not the typical Velcro you find on kids shoes or winter coats, it’s much softer and thinner, so it didn’t catch my hair at all (even when I attached it with the mask already on my head).I also like that this extender, unlike others, can truly be made any length as long as it’s shorter than the maximum length. I bought this to use in a class where I’m required to wear poorly-fitting disposable masks provided by my university (and I’m not allowed to wear other masks). The masks they give us have *very* stretchy ear loops, but by just securing one end of this extender normally, then looping it around the other ear loop and back around itself a couple times, I was able to make the mask fit securely against the sides of my face.
