It took me a really long time (over 6 months) to find another case for my S8+. After much research and reading of reviews, I finally chose this case in the "rose gold" color. I really, really like this phone case. The buttons are raised and work well with the phone itself. I was afraid that I might have some trouble with the fingerprint reader, but was pleasantly surprised to discover that there are no issues at all. Being an imperfect human being, my hands can be a bit clumsy and can often accidentally drop my phone. That being said, this case has proven to be sturdy and reliably durable against imperfect beings like myself. I like that this case isn't bulky even with a kickstand and it fits nicely in my pocket. The kickstand itself is a really nice feature. I had been looking at the cases that have the ring style kickstand, but the fact that I can choose to stand my phone up either vertically or horizontally made this case stand out from the crowd (no pun intended, but still funny). So if I am video chatting I can keep it upright while on the table or turn it sideways so I can watch my Netflix shows. On the back of the kickstand there is a magnet. I should point out though, that the magnet is not very strong, so I would use caution if you have one of those magnetic car holders. I do not have one in my car, so having a weak magnet isn't a deal breaker. All in all, this is a well designed phone case for my S8+ and would highly reccomend it.

The media could not be loaded.  I found that the kickstand was hard to open with the pointer or ring finger because of the way the notch is cut into the case, so I normally had to use my thumb nail to open it, which defeats the purpose of being able to stabilize the phone with one hand from the beginning.Once it was open it was decent at serving as a platform for resting the phone on a hard surface, but the shape of the slot for your finger was uncomfortable as it's a hard-plastic triangle. It definitely seems made more for resting the phone on a surface and not to help stabilize in one hand.The "hitch" that catches and locks the stand into place broke incredibly easily, so the kickstand is essentially useless now as it doesn't stay open under any weight from the phone.I never used the fingerprint aspect, my phone never recognized it as a separate fingerprint input.Will protect your phone well enough but is useless as far as the kickstand and fingerprint reader are concerned.

For what you pay, it's a pretty decent case, as it seems to have reasonable shock prevention to the back and sides. The front protection is pretty light, with a fairly small degree of overhang on the top and bottom, but not much. It'd get some form of screen protector in addition to the case.The kickstand works pretty good. It's a bit slick, so the phone will slip if you try interacting with it any while it's on a hard surface, but it does work otherwise.It won't work so good with a wireless charger as delivered. But there's a couple pieces of decorative metal on the back of the kickstand. Pry out the top piece and the glued metal piece stuck to it underneath it, with a knife, and then a wireless charger works on the phone. There's also a couple magnets in a different spot, to hold it closed; but those don't interfere with the wireless inductive charger, so don't take those out.Camera, fingerprint scanner, buttons, etc all seem to work just fine.For ~$10, it's not a bad case really.

This case is perfect. It protect my phone completely, has a kickstand/holder and is magnetic for my phone holder in my car. The only thing I don't like is how difficult it is to get the kickstand/holder out to work. I can't do it with my nails (it's way too hard) so I need to use a pen cap, or anything near to try to pry it open. It's irritating, but not a deal breaker, at least for me. I got the rose gold color and again, its perfect for me. Exactly what I was looking for.

Yes ans no. It has protected my phone well. I tend to drop my phone alot, but the back stand piece broke. It popped out of socket some. As Id try to put it back in, it would break the corner tabs off. The stand piece finally fell out. The stand would also at times fall or slide back in flat. It didnt stay standing well at times. I will be looking for someone else.

I've had this case for less than a month and I've had to reattach the magnet more than once. Living in a hands-free area, being able to secure my phone is important. It isn't helpful when the magnet turns loose and the phone ends up under the driver's seat.

The case itself is durable but the metal on the back is poor quality. It does not have a strong connection when placed on a magnet, my phone keeps falling when I put it on the magnet in my car to use the gps. And the metal part even fell out within a week of having it, I was able to superglue it back on but it's not a good sign that it fell apart so easily.

This is a fine case, especially for $8 as it was when I purchased it. My only complaints are that the stand seems like it's too low, so it pretty much only works if the phone is horizontal. If it's vertical the weight from pressing on the top half of the phone will tip it over.NOT recommended for people with naturally dry hands. This case has NO grip on it whatsoever. I never noticed until I just switched from my rubber case that I had, and it's a bit of a deal breaker currently.
