GREAT value, EXCELLENT product!
SPECTACULAR product, especially for the price. The frame is lightweight, but sturdy. It goes together in seconds, and it's sturdy! The scrim is well-made, and the corners slip over the frame perfectly, and create a "tight-but-not-too-tight" surface. I don't use the boom pole, but it, too, is VERY well-made, and I will likely repurpose it for something else. All in all, this is a GREAT value for the price. I especially like it because it collapses so small (into its own case, which is very nice as well), and I don't have to have a large truck just to transport my flags. VERY pleased with this product! **UPDATE 11/22/19*** Three years on, and I'm still elated with this product. I've used it nearly 50 times, and it's been perfect every time. Except for a few scratches from being used for three years, it's still rock-solid when it snaps together, and I've had absolutely no issues with it. My clients love the soft light (I shoot an Aputure LS-1 through the frame), and I love that it's lightweight and easy to transport. Still VERY happy!

Cheap Quality. Weak Hardware. Broke easy.
Great Idea but terrible build quality. Didn't last more than 4 or 5 shoots before it broke. The aluminum is light but also very soft and easy to buckle. The boom arm is extremely weak and can barely hold up the scrim without bowing into a U. The mounting point on the frame for the boom arm broke on 2nd shoot. Terrible mounting hardware! The fact that it folds up is great...WAS great until the folding mechanism broke and know my frame is completely useless. Would not buy again unless it was a better build quality. Very Dissapointed.

I like it
This product is great but I can tell it will wear and tear pretty fast.

Amazing!
Love this scrim. Super easy to set up and super portable (very important to me). The leg stand makes it so much easier, not requiring a separate stand or assistant. I highly recommend!

Very happy unpacking it
Just got this item and was very surprised for the good quality. First surprise was that it came in a nice padded carry bag with shoulder strap. The scrim frame folds out and locks with push button releases and is tight.Don't have to put piece's together. The scrim has elastic bands on the four corners that hold the scrim on tightly. The boom looks well made and can be used as a flash boom also witch I was gonna buy but now have one. It has a nice thick foam handle that is about 2ft long and a rounded butt so it doesn't dig into your leg. There is a adjustable tilting bracket like a flash umbrella bracket. This part takes the longest do to having to unscrew it and screw it back on to the frame. You can put this thing together in 10 mins. Haven't used it yet but so far so happy. Didn't know what to expect from a brand that I didn't know. If this holds up, I will be looking at other Pro Studio items. I think the 110cm is a perfect size also. Not to small, not to big.The only reason for the 4 rating is I have to see the durability of it.

which renders this absolutely useless as a reflector
I had hight hopes for this but was immediately let down. The only thing it has going for it is the collapsable frame. The first thing you'll notice is that you have to unhook 20 feet of velcro on the reflector/diffuser panels in order to attach it to the frame. They say it assembles in seconds, but they obviously didn't account for the 5 minutes you spend just opening the velcro loops. Once I finally managed to get past the velcro, I was already not feeling this purchase. But the real kicker was the reflector panel was a solid 2 inches short of being able to span the length of the frame ... which renders this absolutely useless as a reflector. I'm going to repeat that part, the reflector panel was 2 inches short of being able to span the length of the frame and attach the velcro loops. I didn't bother opening the diffuser to see if that fit, because I didn't buy it for just the diffuser, I wanted the reflector too. Then, to add further insult, the carrying bag that it comes with ripped as I was zipping it up to return it. I'm going to take the money from this return and put it towards a ScrimJim.

Didn't last long.
The fabric that comes with it is crinkly and loud. Not great for video. It was also less opaque than I had hoped. I replaced the fabric with some relatively sheer curtain and that did the trick. The pole seems fine. The frame has finicky locking mechanisms to hold the frame square. There have been a couple times when I could not get them to engage and lock. The bracket that holds the scrim on an angle locks tight and holds its angle, but the thumb screw that holds the frame to the bracket has stripped out the bracket side and no longer holds the frame... so now it is not capable of being mounted onto the pole. This product has been used in less than ten shoots and now no longer works as intended. I had been considering products from California Sunbounce, but was deterred by the price. Now that my crew loves shooting with a scrim, I might have to reconsider.

(Fotodiox Pro 140x200cm Sun Scrim) I REALLY like how the external frame just unfolds / pops up. But some of the advertised photos (especially the fabric system) are quite out of date. The outer frame is (soft silver colored) 1" round aluminum tubing. Quite light weight but holds its shape well. To try and explain what the fabric system looks like, think of a white diffuse fabric in the center of the frame that is about 1" smaller than the frame on all sides. But each corner has a diagonal fabric strip that just snaps over each of the 4 frame corners to hold it in place. The second fabric is a similar design, except that it is a silver reflector material on one side, and a solid white reflector material on the other side. The center arm attachment is quite similar to the one shown, and the photo showing the bag with the component parts is reasonably accurate. That folded up collection of (collapsed) poles shown in the component photo is accurate and is actually one piece. It just quickly unfolds and snaps into a 4' 7" x 6' 7" frame. It's hard to describe but it works! Just press two buttons on the frame and it releases and lets you quickly fold it back down. When collapsed, it's only 4' 7" long by 3 3/4" by 3" in size, so it travels quite easily. If you want to add the center arm attachment (as seen in the photos), it's a bit more work. The first time is tricky, but once you understand how that goes together, it's fairly quick. Just not as quick and easy as setting up the frame or popping on one of the fabrics. If you find yourself with an extra 5" metal tube, that piece attaches to a hole in the center of the curved handle. It can be used as an additional hand hold, but it's mainly used as a mounting point for a C-Stand. Who is this for? Well, if you're on a tight budget and don't really need it to be this big, you might consider one of the larger 5 in 1 collapsible reflectors (including diffusion). If you need something more serious that this should be considered. The price seems to vary on it and as I found one at a great price, I am very happy. But you might want to check how the latest price compares to other offerings first. But if the price is right, then I'd certainly recommend this one. And if I ever see another great deal on one again, I'd grab another just so that I could also use them as portable silver and white V-flats!

Muy bueno para el manejo de la luz

Pretty decent scrim in a pinch. Does a good job diffusing harsh light even overcast light. Product did come damaged though as seen in photos. Also as straight forward as it is to assemble, a simple manual would have been nice to be included
