Q: Is this good for a 2.5 year old?

Yes! The pen does the coloring. Some of these tablets have mazes and puzzles, as well as pictures to color, which would be too hard for a 2.5. But I still think a 2.5 would enjoy the pictures. My granddaughter is 8 and loves these! I'm not sure how old she was when she started.... maybe 3.

Great for road trips

Marker didn't last as long as it could have so I tool the tip off and flipped it around and we got a bit more juice out of it. My daughter loved it and the pictures were cute
