With all blow up mattresses they recommend you blow this up before you use it but ...
My boyfriend and I went on a week long camping trip in florida and we needed a bed that would last the whole time. I am so impressed that we didn't need to blow this up more than just the first night. With all blow up mattresses they recommend you blow this up before you use it but we didn't have time before we left. So the first day we camped we blew it up and let it sit for a couple hours then we slept on it for the first time and it held 90% of it's air. We blew it up to 100% the next morning and didn't have to worry about it for the next 5 days. It was great!!! We have since then used it on 3 other camping trips and it hasn't let us down. We left this blown up in the direct Florida sun as well and it got hot, like anything would, but it still held up. And it is easy to pack up with just being able to roll it i the carrying case.I ALWAYS try to put our tent on the flattest surface, preferably in the shade, with a tarp underneath the tent and some times even a thicker pad underneath the mattress so that nothing is poking up and puncturing the mattress. With this system we have had good luck with good mattresses, but you can always tell when the lesser quality mattresses are going to give out no matter what you do.This is the first air mattress I have tried that was taller than the standard 8-10inch mattress and I will probably never go back to the short beds. Because of its height, we have better sleep and even on the first night sleeping on it when it deflated a little bit, we still slept comfortably! I have recommended this mattresses to many people, even those who are cautious of air mattresses - It is definitely worth giving it a try.

WHAT A NICE MATTRESS!!
I live in a small house & needed an air mattress for my son when he comes to visit. This Coleman SupportRest Double-High Air Mattress had good reviews, so I chose to buy it & try it out, and I'm so happy that I did!! I have never had an air mattress with the height of this one & I was a bit afraid it would be bulky to blow up & deflate. How wrong I was! It was an absolute dream to blow up & deflate! I also thought it would never return to a manageable size after it was deflated & I was wrong again! And the flap on the end is perfect to tie it around the end for secure storage. I am so happy with this air mattress & I highly recommend it to anyone needing one that is comfortable & easy to handle.

A nice sturdy basic air mattress
I just got this mattress a few days ago. Im going to go camping in two weeks and I wanted to give myself plenty of time to try this out first. The good: The boxing was awesome Coleman standards and was easy to unbox. This mattress does have a strong odor, however, I am still in the process of giving it time to breathe. I set this up in my living room and used my new battery operated air pump and it was painless. The double seal on the mattress is great so air won't leak badly while you unhook the air pump. I wanted to see if there was any problems. I have had this mattress inflated in my living room for two days and NO PROBLEMS! Ill watch tv and lay on it to test out how much stretching the material will give and if it's as good of quality that I expect Coleman to have. So far, so good. The mattress is holding air well. I was actually impressed with the size of this mattress. A bit bigger than I anticipated. Im a plus sized person and I thought Id go with a queen instead of a twin size. I may have overshot lol. I can lay on this thing and still have plenty of room for another smaller person/child. I could squeeze another person of my size with some contact. Two average/large size adults would have plenty of room. The mattress does stretch and there are a lot of signs on the box, manual, and even on the mattress that tells you so. So many people think its loosing air. It is not! Plus air expands and contracts with change in temperature ;) The mattress is for far very comfortable. I have yet to put in my tent I set up in my backyard (another new product try out). I also bought a new double sleeping bag and it fits almost perfectly! (I read up on measurements to get a good idea but give or take a few inches depending on the measurements of your double sleeping bag). I have not tried sheets on this mattress yet. This mattress is pretty sturdy from what I can gather. In the future, I may invest in a mattress toper but Im going to test this on my camping trip first. The bad: The odor is pretty strong. I set it up as soon as it came in the mail. The next day, my living room smelled like the mattress so definitely expect and prepare for a lot of off-gassing of the materials that make up this mattress. off-gassing is pretty normal, however, some of you folks really do not like it or are very sensitive to smells. Next time, ill be sure to set up in my garage lol. I've read that the smell will go away mostly in a few days so Im not too worried. But while camping, Id rather smell the redwoods than my stinky mattress while Im in my tent.I will test out on my camping trip and leave an updated review. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because so far I'm happy but very slightly displeased with the smell and I also haven't gone camping yet. I may go to five stars after the off-gassing and after I test it out on my trip. Overall, Im very happy with my mattress. I did think about buying a fancier one with a built in air pump but, this is only my second air mattress and I won't be using it very often. Only for camping and for occasional guests. I also didn't feel right buying an expensive air mattress for almost double the price.Update: it’s been several years since I have bought my air mattress and I have used it a handful of times on camping and for guests. I’m very pleased with the quality of materials and this air mattress is very sturdy! It holds very well!! The smell does still reside… however it does get a bit better.

Great
This works great!! I do feel like you have to re inflate a little at least once or twice a week though but other that no complaints!! Is really big as well!!

Very nice mattress
Superbly comfortable IF … when first inflated to a firm level (where in the pictures you can see I’m pressing very hard and the mattress is resisting a lot) it was more comfortable than I had even hoped (back issues) in fact it was more comfortable than most hotel mattress beds! BUT there’s a caveat which is written into the mattress by the valve says “all air mattresses STRETCH” and this is very true. With a small battery powered pump the first time I got it to be firm and comfortable as stated above but by about seven days later the mattress had stretched and the pump was no longer able to get it back to a firm level because the pump did not have enough pressure. So I got a hand pump and was now able to get it back to a firm level like when I first inflated it. It takes a lot of air and the only way you can get it firm after it stretches is with a tire pump or a hand pump. But I will say that with the hand pump I’m very pleased again with this mattress! Will see you in another 7 to 10 or 14 days if the mattress keeps stretching a bit or whether it’s stretched out after seven days and will see if it stretches more if the hand pump will keep getting it back to the firm level that I need which is probably more firm than most people would like.
