Just the thoughts of Black Friday brings on the tension, rising heart rate, and the feeling that you are about to begin a race for the next 5 weeks culminating when the ball drops in Time's Square ringing in 2014. Phew! I'm getting stressed just writing this.. When the hustle and bustle gets you into a tizzy, I recommend listening to this CD by Steven Halpern - Music for Healing. Not only will this CD bring you to a place of serenity and peace, but this CD also works wonders for people who have problems falling asleep. This consists of soothing keyboard compositions that send you into relaxation within minutes. You will be delighted when listening to this music - It is so so much better than listening to the ocean waves and birds. Somehow, the sound of the ocean is only healing to me when I am AT the beach! When played, the music from this CD calms everyone in the room including animals. Nourish your soul and listen to this at the end of your hectic day for rejuvenation. It is airy, celestial - just divine.

This CD was a great find! I was having difficulty falling asleep when I purchased it. The immediate result was the music helped me to fall asleep and to remain asleep! Yet, surprisingly, it is equally effective as background music for studying or when used as yoga flow music. After purchasing the CD I recognized one of the pieces on NPR. It is being used as a musical interlude between segments on some "Morning Edition" programs. The music has a distinctively harmonizing effect upon the listener. I was not acquainted with Steven Halpern's music and purchased the CD based solely on the title. What a blessing it is so aptly titled!

I liked the music the acupuncture plays so I tried looking for similar one and found this. Very relaxing and you can keep it on low. Don't listen to it during the day. I am a rock n roller.

Its magical. This soft, flowing music sends chills of spirit awareness down my spine. Even my toes tingled. I love meditation music. I listen anytime. This CD music for healing mind, body and spirit. Is exactly that. Heals my mind from clutter as I drift willing to a positive thoughts, and my body vibrates to a comfortable balanced tone, and my spirit well let's just say, once listened, one is healed. Simple as that. I use this for my meditation circles as I give reiki. Trust me. Its the best CD I ever come across that instantly fills one with peace when listening. And my meditations , allows me to visualize a a world beyond worlds.

I have several CDs for relaxing by Steven Halpern and others, and just about all of them do what they're supposed to- help me relax, unwind, and get rid of stress. On all of the CDs there are selections that I like better or that relax me better than others, but none of them is grating or irritating. They're great at home or on the commute to work, especially if there's a lot of traffic. Is this CD any better or worse than any other one? No, not as far as I'm concerned. I like playing all of them, and normally don't play the same one twice in a row (I prefer variety). You won't be sorry if you buy this CD- even the price isn't stressful!

I've been as massage therapist for over eight years and creating an atmosphere conducive to relaxation and healing is important. I tested this out driving so I didn't have any surprise weirdness coming from the CD player during a client session. No weird bird calls or other oddities here!! Woohoo. I am definitely pleased with this and in fact may order extra. This would be great for sleeping- for both adults and children especially the anxious ones. You might also use it in areas where tension is higher, in an office, a stressful drive home or taking a loved one to a scary appointment. Even just unwinding in general. This would absolutely complete those nights when you want to sink in a hot bath with a glass or ten of wine or just tune out the world.

I use this CD for a meditation hour I lead at a hospital. The sound is very nice. There is a pause between each song which takes one out of meditation for the duration.

It's always chancey buying unheard music, but I needed a disc for my reiki practice so I took a chance. It is ideal, consistently gentle, and the information on the back tells how they have combined music and science to gauge the necessary notes for relaxation.
