We love these for easy waves!
These curlers work amazing! So easy to put in my young daughter’s hair. Only took about 15 minutes to put them all in and she didn’t have any trouble sleeping with them in. The next morning she had the most adorable waves!

Naturalhaireasy waving style.
I actually do love these rollers. Had some before but misplaced them so I was happy to order these. They are the perfect size for my hair length. I ordered both the 11 inches and these are the 17 inches. I would say sleeping is a challenge with these and your hair does need to be wet for the threading. It will tangle up otherwise. They're easy to pull off just slide them down. Worth the attempt to use for a different look that is heat free. Make sure that you oil your hair as you thread them just to add sheen and staying power to your style.

Use small pieces, and pull it through slow- slightly difficult to install, but stay once set
The wand works, but will come apart if pulled too hard. Take small pieces of hair to pull through, and pull very slow, keeping the waver as straight as possible, and hold the end open. Take a minute to get the hang of it, and even then, it is still not easy to pull hair into these. Once they are set, they stay in place. I slept on mine, and they were not comfortable to lay on- it took some creative positioning to lay down. When I woke up they were mostly dry, but waved nicely. Would be easier to put these in and let hair dry while awake if you have the time. Waves look nice, not super distinct, but did give my hair some volume. I will be using them, just not sleeping in them.

Liked them but, could be better.
I got this set and the curling set. I was hoping for a softer product, so sleeping would be easier, they're pliable, but ridged, plastic mesh with silicone ends. I liked the fact that these were easy to put in by yourself, they would be easier if someone else was doing it for you, though. I started by spraying clean hair with water and putting product through my hair to help the process. I sectioned my hair out, making sure they were 1 inch sections. The application process went smoothly, with a couple issues with the hair not wanting to pull through the water, I just took it off and started again. After completing the installation process, I covered my head with a scarf and went to bed after I took some ibuprofen.Sleeping with these on was not comfortable, I woke up several times adjusting to try to get comfortable.I most likely will not use them again, if I do, it would be a weekend thing, I would install them in the morning for a night on the town. For me, it was a waste of money.

Not as “easy to use” as described
Maybe my hair needs to be wet. I just attempted to do it on dry hair and it won’t stay wrapped around the hook and go through the curler. It does make Morse sense that the hair will stay wrapped around the hook when wet. So, will try these with wet hair soon and update my review if I end up liking them but so far I’m not sure.Tried it with wet hair, still completely useless. I’m definitely going to try and get my money back.

They actually work!
They work, but it’s a workout to use. Be careful because they will pull your hair out.

GREAT alternative to expensive Curlformers! (But keep your Curlformers wand)
I ordered the longest size possible for my daughter and me, and they were great! For context, I have used Curlformers to loosen and smooth my tight 3c curls without heat, and my girl has thick wavy (also frizz prone) hair and uses heatless products to define her natural wave/barrel curls and also smooth. So glad I found these! For $20 bucks, the quality of the curlers was equivalent to Curlformers, for which I’ve spent near a hundred for the same product/amount.A caveat: The wand from this seller is thin and wobbly for our thick hair, and the hook space isn’t big enough (image shows Curlformers wand in black vs the one you get with this in blue). Fortunately, I’m a pro at these by now and it wasn’t a huge issue (plus, I used my Curlformers wand too — my daughter’s job when I put them in her hair is to load the next curler and she used both) but I understand why reviewers said they were impossible to use and gave up. These type of curlers used to piss me off.IF you’re struggling, here are some tips:- DON’T try to shove too much hair into one curler. It won’t dry right and it will tangle when you try to put it in the curler! If your hair doesn’t dry completely in these things — at least for us curly girls — you will end up with a frizzy mess.- DO slightly TWIST the root of the hair selection, so that when you put it in the hook, there are no strays- DO (important!) Face the opening of the hook toward the ceiling and sweep the hair toward the floor! The reason your hair is snarling inside the curler is because you have dragged only a portion of the hair selection. If you’re pulling it all through at once it won’t tangle. Your goal is to keep ALL of the hair near the pointy tip of the wand and away from the opening!- DON’T tear them out of your hair like the women do in the videos associated with this product. When you take them out, pinch the rubber end near your root and straighten the curlformer before sliding it off your hair so as to reduce the friction against your hair and thus frizz! I like to add a tiny bit of oil afterward on both of our hair textures, but know your texture and porosity before you add oil. Might not be a good fit for you.Hope that helps!

Hurt like crazy
these hurt so bad I’ve seen people use them and they work really well on them but as a girl with more frizzy hair and more dry damaged hair it’s not the best I’d stick to heat
