Royal Kludge is such a good company
Other places would jack up the price on this, but they make incredible and affordable keyboards. I have two - one for my computer at home, and one for the iPad 10th generation that replaced my laptop. I got so fed up with bluetooth keyboards that crap out on battery, so I bought this and a hardshell case for it, and a cheap usb-c hub (so I can use a mouse as well) and it works great! The brown keys are pretty quiet and responsive. I don't know if there is a bluetooth connection option, as I am not bothering to even try, so I cannot speak to any aspect of that side of the experience (if there is one), but it comes with a USB C to USB C cable (that has an attachable USB A head in case your computer/device doesn't use USB C). It's a fantastic keyboard. The keys are spaced like a traditional keyboard, so there's no awkward adjustment phase to worry about. I also own a red key RK61 and I will say: that one has an issue with almost being too-responsive for typing. Gaming? Works great. Typing? There are so many errors and accidental presses that it's hard to manage. So if you're a writer, looking for a quality but cheap keyboard, choose the brown keys. Also, that spacebar makes a really satisfying plunk sound. That's barely worth noting, but still!

Best keyboard
Best keyboard I have found. If you have fat fingers it may not work for you as the keys are smaller than normal. The feel is superior to every other KB I have tried. Love the brown switches. Just a very light click feel.

Nice keyboard now that you can program it with QMK/VIA
I have two of these. The newer one is better. I bought a previous version of this keyboard in 2023, a version that was configured either through proprietary RK software or via key combinations. It drove me nuts! I'd fat-finger some keys and BOOM, stuff on the keyboard was changed. And unlike the new version of the RK61, I couldn't program away the awful configuration key combos using RK's software. The reset key combo (Fn-SPACE) got LOTS of use. If RK made all configuration key combos require a press-and-hold timeout like the reset key combo, no problem, but ALL OTHER configuration key combos took hold the millisecond the keys were pressed. That, and the south-of-wonderful RK software that only let me program some of the keys, were deal breakers for me. The keyboard went into a drawer. Fast forward to today: this 2024 keyboard is now configurable via QMK/VIA and it's AMAZING. First course of action when I hooked it up: program away the configuration key combos. No more fat-fingered reconfigs! In every other way, the new RK61 is like the old one, but now that I can actually use the thing without accidentally reconfiguring it, I'm a very happy customer. It's a sturdy, classy, fun keyboard, and I highly recommend it to folks that aren't too picky about their mechanical keyboards. I'm sure there are better boards out there, but come on, at this price point? With these features? This one's a winner (just be very careful that you order the one that specifically says it's programmable with QMK/VIA. Some listings on this site don't say that. Buyer beware!).

Is the RK61 Keyboard worth it?
Hey online shoppers! My name is Keletzu and I'd like to share with you a quick review for the same product you are looking for. Let's start talking about the price. This keyboard was 51 dollars at the day that I bought it. This is a good price for all the characteristics that this keyboard offers. It also makes it a budget keyboard for those who are looking for one like this. Emphasizing on the materials I can say that they are really good materials. Probably they are not the best but for what we are paying is good enough. They look, and they are very resistant. They are not so fragile, which is something really good. The brightness that the LEDs have are really surprising. They are very notable even in the day, when there are different light resources around it. And at night, they are more than enough, it allows you to see the letters on the keyboard without any effort. After using this keyboard for two months already I realized that it is a good quality-price keyboard. You receive good characteristics for the money that you are paying for. It is also quite small, which allows you to have more free space in your desk. Being a small keyboard can have a remarkable problem for some user, and it is that it doesn't have the numpad keys, the function keys (Del, End, PrtSc) that a normal keyboard has. Another problem that I could find is that it gets dirty easily due the space that there is between the keys. In conclusion, is this keyboard worth it for the price it is sold? Well, there is not a concrete answer. It will depend on every customer. If you want to buy a keyboard that is small, looks cool, has a decent quality, and works more than perfect it is completely worth it. But, if you are looking for a keyboard with high quality materials, with all the keys, and with better characteristics, well… this might not be your ideal keyboard. Let me know if this review was helpful for you! :)

Props to the team of this piece of work for the simple yet cool design, the main Lighting Features are actually really cool and unique since you can adjust the lighting to your own liking in many different ways. I’m pleased with the quality of the keyboard casing, Key Caps and accessories. Taking the switches out is pretty easy as long as you know how to do so without breaking them. lol However!! I dislike that the input port is built on the side of the keyboard with an oversized connection cord making it a bit of a hassle to sort out on the desk space. The packaging could have been worse but I think the packaging used was cheap and not very durable. the keyboard was in a foam sleeve that had no protective cushion of sorts. Otherwise… It’s a really good budget option!!! It performs really smoothly with any use! And it all stays lit!

Great little keyboard! It took me a while to get used to not having all of the keys, but in the end, I actually really liked having the small keyboard because it takes up less space so I have more room on my desk. I inherited a full-size ducky and I still prefer this one because of that!
