Although I ordered these in April, I didn't get around to using them until the last day of 2021, when I wanted to mark the end of the year in some fashion. I made six mini cranberry-crystallized ginger panettone to share with friends. It was easy to plop the dough in the molds and very satisfying to see how they rose. Back in the early 2000s I happened to visit Italy in late December - it was thrilling and inspiring to see the wide variety of panettone available in the stores...I'm eager to let loose my imagination and make more in the near future!
