Good Cable!
One of the only cables that I've found that will actually work on all Cisco switches. Very happy with it.

Cable requires no "install"
So I wasn't sure if I need to track down a drive or if windows would install one for me as soon as I plugged it in. Truth is nothing happened when I connected it to the computer. But once connected to a Cisco switch it automatically reserved a com port and connect to the switch. Very satisfied.

Buyer beware!
Bought specifically for a Cisco 3850 switch whose console port may be faulty. Got this USB cable and plugged in and nothing worked. Did not recognize as a serial cable. Downloaded Cisco's usb console driver and applied and no joy. Returning....

Works Great with Cisco ISR
They should include this cable with Cisco hardware instead of the old serial connection .. unless you have an old think pad lying around. this cable worked right away with my Cisco ISR 4000 series router.

A grand catastrophe has happened with your Cisco enterprise switch, what do you do? Well you certainly don't buy the "official Cisco console cable". If you did you would be getting ripped off, this cable is capable of interacting with the Mini-B switch that I anticipated it would be. It acts in the same way that a USB cable and charger block reacts to my phone, diligently pumping electrons into the phone's non-user replaceable battery. So buy this one over your vendor's recommendation to buy the $120 Cisco cable.

Verified that it works with Putty in Windows 10. If it doesn't work for you do a update Driver, should work after. Works for me FANTASTICALLY.
