OBSESSED!
The media could not be loaded. This Banneton has made quarantine so much more interesting. We have been baking bread as much as possible and wanted a proofing basket to go the Artisanal route. I love this product so much! It is made in Houston, Texas and as a Texan it was important to support local. It has a perfect weight and holds up AMAZING. We chose to dust with rice flour and have had zero incidents of sticking. I am hoping I can edit my review with some photos of the finished product next time we bake. For now, I have an unboxing video I took when first purchasing. Please excuse the background sound. (kids)

Perfect for sourdough
Like everyone I’m making bread during this time. My coworker gave me sourdough starter that’s been in her family for years so I’ve just been whipping out all kinds of sourdough. I wanted a proofing basket for both convenience as well as to get the nice design for when I give out the loaves I make. I love this basket! I no longer waste plastic wrap for proofing and my bread now looks super cool with the design. The extra accessories are really nice too...the scraper is way better than the silicone spatula I was using and the brush helps with both spreading flour in the basket as well cleaning it.

Great addition to a quaint kitchen
It just arrived and it’s just as pretty as in the picture and color matches the rye bread color two thumbs up 👍

Not big enough
This was very hard to clean without the canvas. You have to buy rice flour and coat it also. Plus, This is not big enough when the bread rises. I now use a glass 4 quart mixing bowl which is perfect, allowing lots of room to rise. I put the mixing bowl in the microwave and cover it with plastic wrap overnight. Works way better. I ended up returning this.

Complete kit
