These are great USB outlets for the money, with the major selling point being that they can do USB-C PD 2.0, while still retaining a standard USB A port for other devices. Unlike other major brands which only do PD on USB-C only outlets.These are easy to install, but keep in mind that they're much deeper than standard outlets, and are similar sizes to a GFCI outlet.The worst thing about these is the amount of black text on their faces, which really cheapens their look. Additionally, the wall plate they come with is really cheap. I just moved into a place that had all high end lutron receptacles with the lutron snow colored wallplates, and didn't want to detract from that so I looked into removing that paint. Great news is that you can sand it off with 220 grit sandpaper, without leaving scratch marks. The white faceplate of the receptacle unclips easily so that you can do this without filling it with plastic dust. I've attached photos of this modification and how well their matte white paint otherwise blends in with the lutron snow wallplates. The color isn't a 100% match but it's nearly indistinguishable if no one mentioned it.

If you ever had to replace an electrical outlet, then installing this to replace your outlet would be a breeze: three wires and you're done. Just remember to switch the breaker off before doing any electrical work.Both the USB-A and USB-C ports work well to charge my Pixel 4Xl. And the outlets are tamper resistant to meet your local electrical code. Also, unlike some other brands, this outlet doesn't have a blue light that's always lit up on the body.A screwless wall plate is also included in the box.Highly recommended!

Replaced an older USB outlet where one side had quit working with this one. Very easy to install. Nice, flat, secure screw clamp terminals, not the terrible spring clamps or the ones you have to bend the wire. Seems well made. Like having the option of USB-C.It charges our Beats Pill+ hours faster than our old USB outlet.The matte finish doesn’t match the rest of our outlets so I reused our old gloss coverplate instead of the included one. The outlet itself being matte isn’t too noticeable. It’s nice they include a screwless coverplate, but I don’t know of any other outlets sold anywhere in a matte finish, so matching may be an issue for some people.

I'm returning it because it creates a hum when a USB port is used. Sometimes unplugging and replugging the device stops the noise, but then it comes back. Very frustrating because it's otherwise a good product.

Product looks great and installed without issues. Its is expensive for the USB C 36W PD feature to charge laptop, but sadly my LG gram17 laptop displayed error when plugged into USB C ("cannot charge, need more than 10W supply"). Once installed, I don't want to rip it out to return.

I have used this product with my S10+ and Kindle Fire. I ONLY RECEIVE 5-VOLT 1-AMP from each of the 2 USB ports. It does not seem to matter which device I plug in or which port I use (USB OR USB-type C).*update 02/15/2022 - 4 hours charging my daughters kindle to find no charge had taken place. I honestly don't see this working in our household. We have gone back to the proprietary brick chargers.Product does not work as advertised!

I had just standard outlets in my RV and wanted to not always need charging bricks so these plugs were installed in various places. I love that they have 36w charging meaning you get faster charges but also can charge 2 devices at once. I had another USB-C receptacle at home that if I plugged 2 things into it only 1 of them would charge.

Best outlet out there. You need these USB chargers so why fill a plug with an adapter when you can leave it for a lamp and other stuff. Have a clock? Some use USB instead of normal outlet. And these are the newest standard so they smart charge your stuff. This is the best and safest and cheapest way to add outlets to a home.

Bought this model as it was the only one on the market advertising 18W per USB Port. Bought it intending to use the Type-C port with a HomePod mini.HomePod mini boots and acknowledges the 18W (9V @ 2A). However, it seems when playing music at a volume past 50%, the receptacle fails to consistently power the HomePod mini at the required current and in turn, reboots... :(

It does the job, only issue is when you connect a device in the USB outlet, not enough space left to connect iPhone charger. The small square adapter doesn’t fit anymore.
