Looks nice on my Chemex and fits perfectly.I think it helps a bit keeping the coffee warmer, but I enjoy using it more because it looks cool.Not a must-have, but it's definitely a great accessory.

Good quality
I do really like the look of this stopper, however it does not reall make a big difference to retaining the heat in the carafe, mainly because it can still escape through the poring channel in the top, but it does look the business and brings a bit more of a wow factor to the proceedings.
