Aéropostale recounts the saga of the development of early Airlines from 1919 to 1939. Players take on the role of an airline manager in 1919 and expand their airlines by creating stops in Europe, Africa, and South America, recruiting Seasoned and Legendary Pilots, and by breaking records and earning bronze, silver, gold, and platinum wings. Aéropostale is based on the real story of Pierre Georges Latécoère and his mad dream to found an airline that would fly from France to South America. At the height of its glory the Compagnie Générale Aéropostale had nearly 220 airplanes and "The Line" stretched over 9320 miles across 27 stops.
