Just needs a slightly better Dpad. That's it. Everything else was fantastic.
The media could not be loaded. Before I say anything, I wanna give a shoutout to the distributor for their Grade-A customer service. I sent them an email about a problem I had with the controller, and they sent another controller no questions asked. It...unfortunately did not fix the one issue I had, but I appreciate that service nonetheless. Great things like that deserve recognition!Just as the title says, the only real problem I had was with the Dpad. The feel of the Dpad was fine. It's fairly soft, but firm. It's easy to push in and isn't too big. For the individual directions, the response was just fine as well. However, the problem surfaced with multidirectional inputs. When inputting a diagonal direction, sometimes the Dpad would be unresponsive, specifically on the right side. This will undoubtedly cause problems for any platformer or top-down game that utilizes those diagonal inputs (see attached video).Other than that, though, everything else was pretty great.-- The ergonomics are good, and the controller felt great to hold. Not too big or small (wish it had some kind of grip material on the handles though).-- The buttons are perfectly sized and have a good balance between firmness and softness. I especially like the ABXY buttons. They're satisfying to push and feel like the type of buttons that will not get stuck. I love that.-- The gyro appears to be as good as the that on the joycons. It's very fluid. You can actually use it to aim exclusively, which is makes it optimal for efficiency and comfort.-- The Rumble is decent, but I have some nitpicks. (see below)-- The control sticks feel fantastic! They have the perfect amount of resistance to them, as well as a good solid feeling. Some controllers have very cheap feeling sticks, to where they feel like they'd break if you pushed them in one direction for too long, but the control sticks on this controller are great! There are little to no deadzones to them as well, so you shouldn't have to worry about precision or accuracy on something like a twin-stick shooter. I just have one nitpick about them. (See below)-- I will say this right now. The description undersells the potency of the battery life. It lasted a lot longer than I thought it would. Which is good, because I noticed the controller never seemed to turn itself off after a while. Overall, I think it lasts about as long as the joycons. I was pleasantly surprised about that!** BONUS: It can wake up the Switch, and the controller appears white on the controller menus, helping to differentiate it from others.-------------I do have some nitpicks ( Things that I'm not find of, but aren't too serious as to be considered problems). These are mostly based on my personal tastes.1. The rumble is a little weird. It's not the same type of rumble you'd expect to find in a game controller. Instead, it felt similar to that in a phone. It's not bad, as it did its job, but it certainly felt different.2. The intensity on the rumble was kinda odd as well. In my opinion, the levels go from* "A little too weak" - could barely feel subtle rumbles, like when touching the ground in a platformer game.* "A tad too strong" - when rumbling constantly, it became somewhat uncomfortable.* "My controller is alive." - No. I don't need a massage, thank you.I personally kept it at level 1, as to get the closest to the joycons HD rumble feel as possible.3. I also did NOT like how the intensity level kept resetting to the max everytime the controller turned on, but it's very easy to readjust, so that's why it's only a nitpick.4. It's not the greatest controller for Smash Bros. The control sticks, while great for general purpose gaming and have little to no deadzones, are unfortunately stiff for Smash. I had a hard time running in-game, even with the sensitivity up. This lead to a few moments where I was unable to act as freely as I would've liked. Not too bad, mind you, but a bit of a struggle.Overall, this is one of the best third party controllers you could possibly ask for, especially for the price.Again, I just wish it had a slightly better Dpad. I NEED a good Dpad on a controller, because I primarily play platformers. While the control sticks would suffice, I prefer to use the Dpad for accuracy. Mis-inputs (or in this controller's case, unresponsive inputs) are a HUGE turnoff for me...and it pains me to write that out because this is genuinely a good controller in pretty much every other regard.I would recommend this controller. Just be mindful of the Dpad issue.

Impressive
This controller is great. The battery life is good but there are others that have a larger battery. This controller is responsive, and feels very comfortable. The home button wakes the Switch and everything works as though it was an official Nintendo controller. Great quality and performance for the price. There are approximately 3-4 other controllers here on Amazon that have the same layout and buttons but are different colors. They also are from different companies but are EXACTLY THE SAME CONTROLLER in different colors. I bought another one from a different company that was black and dark grey and as you can see from my photo, I changes parts around. I use the black and light grey one and my daughter likes the light and dark grey with the blue and reddish color. I have seen a blue and black and have seen a yellow and black controller as well. They all have the SAME EXACT INSIDES AND HAVE THE SAME EXACT FEATURES so any questions answered here, apply to those as well.

Very sturdy
I didn't expect the product to be so sturdy made. it works fine, doesn't feel too cheap, and it comes with a USB-C cable. The battery life is decent, I have not checked the range since I usually use this very close to my switch or computer at my desk. It works with my PC, switch, and Tablet, when I tried to use it with steam there were some minor issues with the button mapping but that seems more like an issue with the software or individual game. The battery so far has been great, I usually use it plugged into my PC but for the past three nights I've primarily used it for playing genshin impact on my tablet in bed and its hasn't died yet.

Quality packaging, Quality Materials, Quality Price!
Where do I begin on this perfect bargain price of a controller? First off, a Nintendo Pro Controller costs roughly $50; So already the price of $29.99 for this product is a steal! The buttons feels smooth and connection to the switch was seamless! So far the battery life has been comparable to the standard life of a pro controller. Overall the product has great design. The color and feel of the controller is perfect! The button responsiveness is well timed and meets me expectations! I most certainly will be purchasing more of these controllers in the near future! It’s perfect and fit for a gamer like myself who truly values the response time for buttons (playing super smash bros... you have to always be prepared and any lag will result in losing).

Works Great !
This controller is way worth the price. The colors are fantastic and stand out really nice compared to most pro controllers in the market. I love the thickness of the control, it fits super comfortably in any hand size. The sensitivity is on point, does not lag at all. It is very lite and easy to pick and move around no matter where you go. I have put a lot of miles on it and haven’t had any issues. The battery life is very good lasts a whole day and more. All in all this controller is great and I would definitely buy another.

It can read AMIBOS
I got this mostly to have a pro style controller that can read amibos that was not the cost of the nintendo labeled ones.I have a couple 8bitdo and im upset that they dont read them and I honestly would not have gotten them had I known that. This controller is great. Feels nice, Looks great and you can WAKE UP YOUR SWITCH WITH IT.. Another feature 8bitdo lacks.I read some complaints about the dpad. I dont see an issue with it honestly. But I rarely play games that require the d-pad.
