Great quality and long lasting (over 3 years so far!)
I got a set of the 6 drawers back in 2021. I was browsing for more when I realized I should leave a review because I don’t use them for what they’re traditionally used for, which is artist pencils and paints.I am a silversmith, so I use mine to house my favorite collections of stones- the nicer ones I don’t want getting dusty!I have a custom cabinet with vintage printer trays for most of my crystals and gemstones, but these drawers can house such a large quantity of gemstones. The only thing that would make this piece better is if the company created some sort of multi compartment organizers, or moveable dividers for storing small items like my gemstones.(I’ve made my own, but it’ll probably look cleaner having them made by the same company that makes the drawers.)

Well made and super functional
These are very nice. I first ordered a 12 drawer (2 six drawer units) and then realized that just by chance the dimensions of the shelves I had built in my shop allowed for an additional 6 drawer unit to fit perfectly for a total of 18 drawers. (I love it when a plan comes together – even if by accident.) I added some cleats using double stick shop tape to prevent the units from sliding forward which probably was not necessary.

Better than most, stacking is a bit of an issue--
4.5 Stars-- I've got several of this type from different companies. This one is very nice with a couple of caveats.Pros:The drawers slide in and out easily. They also seem to be stable and not a bit wobbly from side to side. They are well-fitted within the structure and glide like they should. This is probably the most important thing for this type of box if you actually use them frequently.Overall quality is excellent. There are a number of minor build issues but nothing to take away from the looks and sturdiness of the drawer set. Color and finish are excellent, probably the best of the several varieties I own.Cons:Stacking is almost impossible without a few modifications. The bars that run the length from side to side are on both the top and bottom. There's no peg-in-hole system for stacking so the bottom bars on the upper drawers sit on the bars on top of the lower drawers. Everytime you pull out a drawer, it shifts a little until if finally falls off. I did try setting the top bar *behind* the corresponding lower bar and this works okay but offsets the drawers by about an inch. Plus, it still wiggles and if you stack another set, that offset just grows and gets less stable. A couple of velcro strips attached on the bars fixes the issue and seems to be holding. It was an easy fix but I wish they would have thought this one through.Quality issues: All minor. There were a few minor finish issues that aren't really worth mentioning. The dovetails on the sides of the box weren't fitted well and were separating on the sides of one of the boxes. I held the box in my lap and bopped the corner with my palm until it fit together. A rubber mallet would have done the job better but, hey, whatever works :)Size: The drawers are a bit shallower than my other sets. These hold one layer of pencils where i can easily get in a second layer in the others.Minor annoyance: I wish the dividers could be easily slid in and out to customize the drawers. Unfortunately, they are nicely glued on each end and along the bottom. I feel certain they could be removed with a pair of pliers but would leave glue on the bottom of the drawer which I'm not willing to do right now.Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality and with the velcro in place, they meet my need. Price is excellent, finish is good. I'll update later if needed. Not sure I'll buy another set but will update here if that's the case.

Lots of storage
I have been reorganizing my craft room with the goal of getting rid of a lot of plastic and replacing with sturdier and more visually pleasing items. Overall I am really happy with my purchase, so much so that I was going to buy another piece for the rest of my pens and pencils. Alas, the item is currently unavailable. Hopefully they will get it back soon.As you can see in the first picture, there is a noticeable gap between the cabinet and the top drawer. This doesn't really bother me, it's more of an annoyance. It's not so annoying I thought about returning the item, though. Here is what I have in this little cabinet:1st drawer: 30 Derwent Tinted Charcoal and 12 Charcoal Graphitint2nd drawer: 15 Derwent Coloursoft, 11 Derwent Drawing (think I have one missing somewhere), 4 each of Prismacolor blender & Caran d'Ache blender, 12 Derwent metallic, & 15 Faber Castel , Goldfaber & odd ball drawing pencilsDrawers 3-6 I have my Prismacolor Premier coloring pencilsDrawer 3 :73 pencilsDrawer 4: 66 pencilsDrawer 5: 61 pencilsDrawer 6: 36 pencils, with 12 being some cheap-o The Fine Touch metallic pencils and 1 odd ball Staedlter pencilAs you can see there is one open spot in the bottom drawer. I still have 72 Raffine colored pencils to fit and I really could probably just put them in the the Prismas but I can't make my mind up about mixing the brands, lol.All in total I have 325 pencils in this cabinet with left over space. I put it on my desk for now and really that is where I want to leave it so I can use my coloring books that I have bought. Unfortunately, I am one of those people who has to have supplies right in my face to make sure I use them. All my colored pencils were in a holder that zipped and sat on a shelf and it did me no good because I didn't use them or even think of them. I have a deep enough desk so I think this will work great for me. Hopefully these come back in stock soon so I can order another one.Another thing! I tested these different pens/pencils/markers to see if they would fit and they did:the big Pitt Pens, Tim Holtz distress marker and crayons, Posca 1.3 mm, 1.0 mm Pen-touch, Sharpie paint marker & big Sharpies such as the brush markers, Crayola Super Tips, the long double-ended pens such as the Zig. It's really a great storage option for art supplies.
