SimplexHealth Chlorine Dioxide 0-500ppm (50 Test Strips)

Not happy with how they are stored, no seal (air can render them useless) no silicon preserver pouch to keep fresh. Bad quality, try another brand.

I bought the SimplexHealth Chlorine Dioxide test strips hoping to check my tap and well water, but unfortunately, they didn’t work for me. The instructions were clear, and the color chart seemed easy enough, but no matter what I tried, I couldn’t get a reading. On the plus side, it’s a handy pack of 50 strips, and testing is super quick if it did work. Just a bummer that it didn’t actually do the job.

I got these chlorine dioxide test strips to monitor ClO₂ levels in my preparations, and so far I am unfortunately, I’m not convinced re overall quality and performance. The packaging arrived with the bottle closed, however no proper seal or desiccant pouch inside. This raises concerns about how fresh the strips would be. Air exposure could degrade them quickly, and I felt the lack of any protective measures was a significant oversight for something that relies on accurate chemical reactions. When I started testing, the results were inconsistent and hard to trust. I ran several checks, including on distilled water (which should show zero chlorine dioxide), but the strips developed colors that didn’t match the comparison chart. This made it impossible to know if we have a reliable reading. I compared them with my own calibrated meter, which gave different ( lower) values. Overall, the strips simply failed to inspire confidence for something that needs to be precise. In terms of value, for almost £17 this product appears to be of questionable accuracy and may not be a great investment in terms of reliability.

Además detecta en el agua destilada 300 a 400 ppm de dióxido de cloro. Cuando el agua destilada no tiene dióxido de cloro . Si alguien me lo puede explicar . Como puede tener el agua destilada 88ppm con mis medidores y las tiras detectar 400ppm solo de dióxido de cloro ? He hecho varias pruebas con varias sustancias y no tienen lógica los resultados de las tiras . Si alguien me lo puede explicar ...

Cumple su función. La entrega ha sido rápida y muy bien.. Yo lo compré para utilizarlo con el dióxido de cloro..Genial.

La boite est livrée sans sécurité de fermeture du flacon, on ne peut pas savoir s'il a déjà été ouvert ou pas. Les résultats que j'ai obtenus sont douteux (voir photo). En effet, la bandelette affiche une couleur marron orangé, qui ne figure pas sur le comparatif pour estimer la teneur en dioxyde de chlore. Je retourne le produit.
