Springfield Leather Company Black Latigo Leather Strip 1-1/2"x72"

One damn nice piece of leather. The grain of mine is really nice with a couple of real small scars, with the back side beening smooth enough for a belt. It's a full 1 1/2" width about 3/16" thickness. As another reviewer stated, will have to skive (thin) where the buckle goes to get a better fold at that point. Take care of this piece with leather conditioner and it will last a lifetime.

This is a nice leather strap and it is good quality. I thought that the surface would have more of a shine to it but it didn't. Anyway the leather is a good quality and worth the cost.

I like the latigo strips from Springfield. These are a bit stiff and you may need to skive a bit off if where the buckle is if you want to make a belt of this. I did not tool it so I do not know how well it tools.
