Purchased for my 2 year old. It’s not “advanced” for him but definitely takes a kid with patience and the attention span to sit still. Aka not my crazy boy. Everything is just plastic. Nothing crazy nice. The safety glasses are far to large. Basically something you’d get handed in a biology lab for school (except they seem to warp the room). The little pipettes are adorable. They actually work pretty decent.Lab coat is a bit large but I knew that from the comments. I don’t even have that out. But for an older kid would be great. They would probably love the name tag too.The booklet.. haha I’m a science major and the explanations are like cringy to have even written in such a young child’s book. Haha like they aren’t going to understand. Not personally a fan of the booklet.But I got it all for a good price so I’m happy with it.

I bought this set for my 3 year old because he has really been into making potions and likes using droppers. I thought this would be a good set that can grow with him as he gets older. The experiments and the lab coat are defiantly for an older child but there are so many pieces in the set there is plenty to keep him busy and happy as he learns more and more. Currently he really enjoys mixing baking soda and vinegar in the test tubes using the beaker and droppers. The set fits back into the carrying case pretty easily and I appreciate toys that are self contained as it helps keep the house organized.

The included pieces are good quality and my 4yo has loves playing with everything. The book is poorly translated into English and the experiments are difficult to perform, often due to the need for specialty supplies that were not included. It’s a great intro to science but I will be looking for something better before too long.

This is a cute little set! My kindergartener loved that it came with a lab coat. She told me she was playing scientist. Score for that! I like that it comes with a booklet of suggested experiments, we will probably try to do those later. But for now I just gave her free reign and she loved filling the test tubes with water, examining things with the magnifying glass, and testing out, all in her little lab coat. It was the real deal for her. ^,^

This is a great addition to our science supply play! My son is 7 and he loves to do science experiments! This kit has come in handy when we need measuring tools and eye droppers especially when it comes to baking soda and vinegar and other age appropriate science experiments! The jacket also fits my 7 year old perfectly!

fun little set and lots of little items for them to explore with. Kids are really enjoying it, i just wish there was an option for 2 items if you had 2 or more kid. ill be buying a 2nd set for my other child too. cool little find .

The white coat fit my 6.5 yr old boy perfectly. It is thin material, great for scientist costume. The other plastic items were fine, not heavy duty bit fine to play with.

Great for my 9 year old daughter. Hour of scientific playing. She was so excited to look like a real scientist
