Maintaining a reliable internet connection
Easy to set up out of the box. It recovered 2 dns failures since installed. So far so good.

Great router rebooter!
So far, so good. Bought this to reboot my T-Mobile 5G home internet gateway, when needed or on a prescribed schedule. Everything has worked well so far, but it has only been hooked up for one week. I will try to remember to update this review in a couple of months. Update 1: Keep Connect did it's first automatic reset today. Gateway started up successfully after the reset.

Resets internet router when I am unable (or just unwilling) to do so....
This works as intended. Setup was not very difficult, maybe not entirely self-explanatory how to choose options but defaults are probably fine for most people. I got this a couple of months ahead of a three-week international trip during which I wanted to be able to monitor HVAC at home as well as cameras, so I could try it out before the trip. Of course, I intentionally interrupted the internet by unplugging the cable to see how it works, and it did as expected. I did not lose internet connectivity with my home during that 3 week trip, which probably wouldn't have happened with my crappy and quirky home modem otherwise. In the 5 months I've been using this, it has been called upon to reset the internet connection 7 times. That is seven trips to the basement to cycle the plugs I did not have to do, including any trips I could not have made while I was away on vacation. After each reset and when internet is restored, it emails me telling me that it had done so, with a cumulative count of how many times it has done so (that is where the 7-count comes from). During the times that I was at home when the internet went down, it might have taken 5 to 10 minutes by the time it detected the fault, cycled the power, and then the modems had fully reset themselves. Not a big deal if the main reason is to be able to access remote devices when I am away from home. In my case, I have a U-verse gateway modem, cascaded into an Asus wireless/wired router. The Asus usually fails, but the Keep Connect cycles power to both modems at the same time. Fortunately, it does work when it powers both of them back up simultaneously, and some minutes later internet comes back. I could probably toy with the options to make it detect more quickly and reset sooner, but don't want to bother since the main goal is that it resets when I am not home and so my wife doesn't have to worry that I won't be home to reset it when it goes down each time. I guess it beats paying many times more money just to get a more reliable commercial-grade modem at home, I just use a cheap one and this Keep Connect and my connection is pretty reliable (or reliably resets...).

51 uneventful resets and still going
51 uneventful resets and still going. I have it set up to perform a reset once per week at 3am. I never even know it is occurring and it has kept my router connected throughout the entire time it has been installed. Previous to using the keep connect I would have to perform manual reset about once a month, and it was always when I needed my internet most. We do some extended traveling and monitor things back home with cameras, wifi lighting and temperature sensors. It was frustrating to have to call my house sitter or family member to go to the house and reset my router because the router failed to connect. During our last vacation. not once did we lose the connection. The reason for the minus 1 star is because I do not have any remote access to the Keep Connect to review any issues or force a reset. I think there is a way, but it's nit intuitive. I have the app but cannot log in and there is no option for support or password reset.

Useless. Maybe buying the "Premium" subscription makes it better?
Easy to set up. No app required. Plug in and connect to the wifi network, and settings comes up. Entered wireless network information easily enough, it connected right away. Was setting this up for my 90 yr old grandmother, so I decided to unplug it from the wall, wait a few seconds and plug it back in ... and I ALMOST didn't do this because I assumed such a BASIC function would be well designed. Nope. Plug it back in and it just flashes yellow. Forever. Requires manually pressing the button, connecting to the interface, and clicking "Save" on the ALREADY ENTERED settings. Then, voila, it instantly is reconnected. It'd be nice and automatic. If it weren't a MANUAL process. Thought, I'll check their site for firmware updates. I can see the current firmware name and chipset information, but in all their wisdom decided not to provide the downloads in an easily accessible area. Instead, there's a broken web form that does nothing. Tried 3 different computers. If you're into tech like I am, if a bigger device doesn't bother you then just go with the Digital Loggers brand. They've been around forever, firmware downloads on their website, and solid as a rock. Thought it'd be overkill for this situation. If they get it together it will be a nice product. And maybe it would work great if you live in a perfect world with no power outages. But I even tried killing my Wi-Fi signal to make sure it would reconnect. Nope. I was trying to get this set up for my grandmother before a flight in a few hours, so she wouldn't be without Internet if her connection went down, while I was out of town. Sorry, Grandma. Think we're better off without this for now. UPDATE: I had preconfigured this at my place before going to where it was to be installed. Added an identical SSID/password to my router for preconfiguration purposes. While it would not connect to my Wi-Fi without going through settings (I have Ubiquiti UniFi WiFi 6 and 7 APs), but once I did it would instantly connect as I said.... When I tested at my grandmother's place, situated super-close to the router, it fired up fine and connected. So, it's possible that this was due to Wi-Fi congestion at the condo I'm in. I was testing it about 10 feet from the Wireless AP at my place. I just still find it strange that, if I connected to it in AP mode to get to the setup process, and hit "Save", it would connect at my place within 5 seconds. If it can connect like that, it should be able to do so on its' own. IMO. Guess this is a situation where YMMV. Great concept and fills a definite need. Amazing that the Kasa/etc haven't added this as a feature to their plugs. (For me, I have the UniFi Smart Plug that's like $20 when in stock, but it requires UniFi hardware. It works great though.) Good luck! Will update once it's been in place for awhile, to let you know how things are working...

Does exactly what I wanted as the title describes. I have my internet provider's router plugged to this device. When something is up with the router, and really it just needs the old reliable unplug replug or reset button pressed, the Keep Connect detects the loss of internet and it kicks in and power cycles, internet is restored and i dont need to go to this remote spot in my home to reboot the router anymore.

Works well. I do recomend it.

It works great. My router often stops resolving DNS lookups, causing loss of connection, and never recovers unless I unplug it. Annoying when I'm home and have to run over to it; worse when I'm away and need to reach my Smart Home devices and cannot. Keep Connect has detected every outage (28 so far in three months) within 5 minutes and has reset it. Note: Initially it didn't work. I went into the advanced settings and looked at them. I changed one, then decided to change it back. After doing this it worked fine.

In big letters, up front and center, the description should say "Not suitable for the UK" Its embarrassing that someone gets paid to promote these items on Amazon UK. I now have to waste my time and money sending this back.

This device operates like an external "Watchdog" automatically resetting the modem or router if connectivity is lost. Using their subscription service, also allows me to remotely reboot them as is sometimes necessary to reestablish connections with other connected devices like thermostats, cameras and the like, saving travel to remote locations as had previously been necessary. It works well and highly recommend.
