If you have a family with children, buy more than one!
Good product. Seems well built and not rickety at all. Very handy so it is very popular in the household. Bought one as a last minute stocking stuffer for a teenaged girl a couple years ago and forgot about it. Saw her still using it recently and really had never seen it outside its box and was impressed so I bought another to have as a phone stand near a bluetooth speaker in the kitchen. It is now constantly being poached by everyone in the house.

Great phone holder
I love this phone holder so much I bought 2 (1 for home & 1 for work). I have an iphone 13 & it holds it perfectly. I like that it can rotate horizontally or vertically (to answer calls, watch videos & play games without the holding phone). Its easily adjustable by pressing the button on the side & pressing close to for you phone within seconds.

Very sturdy.
I recently bought both the Desk Call phone holder & the APPS2Car phone holder. Both are good phone stands/holders. The Desk Call has a heavier base which makes it sturdier. The only negative thing I can say about the Desk Call phone holder is, it does not tilt to true vertical position. If you wanted to use the phone holder to take a picture you cannot tilt the phone holder to a vertical position do this. It is possible to put the phone in the phone cradle at a angle and then tighten the clamps to hold the phone and have the phone in a straight up & down position. The APPS2Car phone holder does tilt to a straight up & down position. If I had to choose which phone holder I preferred, I would choose the Desk Call phone holder.

Sturdy phone holder with some minor flaws
I bought this for my wife who was constantly propping up her phone against things, only to have it slide down or fall to the floor. On first blush, this is perfect for the task. However, there are a couple of things that if improved, would make this a real winner. First off, something that another reviewer noted: this will not allow you to tilt the phone to a completely vertical (0°) orientation. At minimum, I am guessing it stops around 15° forward, and maximum tilt back of about 75° (in the vertical orientation). I don't know why the manufacturer made it this way, since it would still be stable (or more so) at 0°. Secondly, when you rotate the phone to the horizontal position, it locks in multiple steps before it becomes horizontal. I see no possible use for it rotating 15°, 30°, 45°, 60° before reaching 90°. It's very stiff during rotation, and in my opinion, should be a bit looser. There's no need for all the "detents" during rotation, it should just turn smoothly and then lock in the 90° position. Thirdly, and the biggest "gripe" I have about this otherwise fine item: the arms on the side that hold the phone in place are way too big. I understand that they were trying to make this "one size fits all", but your phone would have to be about two inches thick to need arms this deep. The biggest issue with this is that the arms curve inwards, and make it hard for your finger to swipe from the sides, and even make it hard to type if the letters on the keyboard you're trying to reach are close to the edge of the screen. Ideally, the arms should have been half the depth they are, and with somewhat less inward curvature. I may glue a pad to the holder where the back of the phone touches, to bring the phone at bit forward in the holder, that may help the issue about having difficulty in reaching the edges of the screen. Other than that, this holder is very sturdy and stable, you don't ever feel like the phone is going to fall out or the holder will fall over. All ports and speakers are not blocked, and function normally. The part that holds the phone is separate from the base, and you can rotate the phone 360° without moving the base at all. It's a keeper, but I hope the manufacturer will think about making some changes in the design for later production.

This Desk Call cell phone stand has uses other than for phones.
Needing a desk top stand for my new Uniden BCD436HP hand-held radio scanner, a post from a forum directed me to the Desk Call (by: Cap Call) cell phone stand. My radio is held at a good viewing angle and its buttons can be pressed. The mount that holds the device rotates 360. Also, the mount’s support that attaches to the base, rotates 360 in the base. Because of the mount’s rotation from vertical to horizontal, a fellow scanner owner whose radio is horizontally oriented (rather than vertical like mine), provided a good Amazon review and a picture of his scanner mounted in it. The mount’s side’s grip the radio well & release with a button push. Is the Desk Call the most robust stand on the market? In a word, no. Some of the 3D printer fabricated stands I've seen elsewhere are probably more stable. But they’re generally fabricated for a specific device and are more costly and don’t swivel or rotate. So, for the ~$16 price, the Desk Call definitely suited my needs, aesthetics & wallet. Oh, and given that the Desk Call can hold my larger and heavier scanner, it would also be great for its intended purpose: as a cell phone holder.

Great phone holder
I do a little bit of sign language, so I'm constantly utilizing this to free up both my hands. It's also great for just keep the phone up right so you can watch a show or movie or just have it there on your work desk. It's a shame the vendor stopped selling it
