These are nice enough rods, and work well. The picture shows a textured iron type finish, however, the actual rods have a smooth, painted finish (like a shower rod would have), and the decorative ends are not as nicely defined as pictured. So cosmetically, they are a little less than expected.On the positive side, they have nice tough rubber caps on the end that provide much more grip than standard tension rods. Those of you looking for rods to hang things from a rod might like to check them out.I will return in a few weeks and report back once they've been in place long enough to see if they endure.

For $15, I sure expected a lot more. I could have bought a shower curtain rod and got better quality. There was even a spot where the paint was already chipped off. For the price, it was not what I was expecting at all.
