Our granddaughter just got a sewing machine. This fabric was exactly has shown. Good quality fabric, with beautiful designs. She loved it.

The fabric is fine, perfectly so. But I have five years experience working at a JoAnn's and I know the difference of how a cotton and a poly cotton blend feels. While it's advertised as 100% cotton, it doesn't feel like it.The only reason this matters to me, as I'm making something going to be exposed to heat, the cotton matters.

WORKS PERFECT

I can’t complain about the quality of the fabric, however its “blackness” leaves a lot to be desired. I got this fabric to repair my 100% cotton cargo pants and had to use navy colored thread. To my surprise the fabric was closer to the navy thread than the black cargo pants. In my photo you can see the color of my pants, the color of the fabric, the color of the thread, and the color of my Bonefire patch. As you can see, this fabric is too light to blend into any black fabric, which is disappointing.

I have been working with this material as the back of my quilt as you go. I had made so many Covid masks that I was left with lots of scraps, etc. So, I'm in the process of making a quilt with the scraps and this solid, beautiful material for the back. The squares that I have finished look stunning with the black background and the grayish white stars. It simply pops the colors in the quilt squares.
