Easy to install and quick to setup with Apple HomeKit
Really handy Apple HomeKit power sockets. Ideal for switching non smart appliances on/off at scheduled times (with the app) or for controlling them with voice commands via Siri.

Bargain, quality & flexible. Great plugs!
I have a substantial amount of smart gadgets and can honestly say that these are the most comprehensively good quality smart plug that I’ve bought; Build Quality This two-pack is very well packaged and look good. In addition to the sleek design, they don’t feel cheap and have a solid, premium weightiness about them. The rounded corners and minimalist dimensions (2.65 x 2.65 x 1.88) make it easy to place them on cramped and even smaller wall sockets. They have a brushed finished which looks classy and means that they are less likely to gather dirt (though this remains to be tested). Set up Completed set up in under 2 minutes with Apple HomeKit...simply plugged them in, scanned the barcode and pressed the pairing button. The light flashes for a bit and then voila! It just works and Siri control is flawless. Alexa was a bit trickier because she didn’t recognise the devices. Now, considering that I have other Meross plugs, this was slightly disappointing. Nevertheless, I did notice that there was a firmware update due for the Alexa. Once I had updated the Alexa App, the plug became visible and I was able to control it with my Echo devices as normal and added them to my living room group. So, the update fixed the issue, I believe (though I have no way of knowing for sure). These plugs can also be controlled using the SmartThings app and the Meross App, as well as the normal Google Assistant. Overall I would highly recommend these for Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, SmartThings and Meross App integration. Assuming the Alexa set up issue was fixed by the firmware update (hence the 3stars for Alexa integration). This is a great bargain considering how much more expensive yet limited some other options are.

I just shout at my house and things happen!
We now have 4 of these in the house (2 new, 2 over 6 months, no reliability problems so far) running the kettle in the kitchen, a bedside lamp upstairs, a lamp that serves as the main light in the living room most evenings and a spare that unless I think of something in the mean time will probably do seasonal duty on (indoor) Christmas tree lights. I've got the meross app on my phone but that was only really used for setting up (under 5 minutes per device and no problems despite having a fairly complex home network set up) and do the control via google home (we've got 3 chromecasts, 2 google phones and a google home hub in the house so it made sense to keep it all in one ecosystem) - integration with that was very easy, one the device is named in the meross app open the home app and it pops up as a new device with that name and asks you what room you want to assign it to. We've set up some very useful commands like saying "goodnight" turns off the living room lamp at the same time as turning on the upstairs one so no juggling with lightswitches if your taking the laundry basket up at the same time and the kettle turns on with our alarms (from the phones) in the morning so by the time we've got downstairs its boiled and ready to make the first cup of tea of the day. Theyve been very simple to use- my other half isnt tech savy and shes had no problem using them daily. The only glitch we've had is that one of them seemed to get confused by me resetting the router which had frozen while the smart plug was on, but that was just a matter of turning it off and on again at the wall and has only happened once I think (it would only really become a problem if you were to install the smart plug somewhere really inaccessible) Presuming the other products work the same I will definitely be incorporating more meross devices into my home automation in future.

Good quality, easy to set up
Bought a pack of two and had these just short of a month, and find them great for turning your appliances on & off, especially if the socket isn't easy to get at. I'm only using for low wattage appliances, not sure if they're suitable for high power gobbling appliances. I chose this brand as they're compatible with Apple's HomeKit (so you can use Siri), and the setting up with both the Meross app and HomeKit app is simple and quick. They look and feel well made, and found them to work perfectly so far, but not really used the remote access away from home. If you want to use HomeKit you have to set up your iPad as a home hub and leave it at home and plugged in, so think I'll be using the Meross app if I want a remote connection. It's useful there is a light on the plug so you can see at a glance whether it's on or off without having to open the app, and it can be turned on or off using the switch on the plug rather than the app if you're close by. My only niggle is the size. They're a bit wider than the standard UK plug, and so long as you have a single socket or double one/extension where the next socket isn't being used, that's fine. I have since purchased a pack of two of the Mini Meross Smart Plugs, which are the same width as the standard UK plug, and as with the larger model have an indicator light and switch, and do prefer these of the two models. Just for the large size, they lose a star for me, but do like them.

Reliable and relatively easy to set up
The smart plugs are great for the Apple HomeKit and work really well. The range is pretty good too with WiFi as I have one at the bottom of the garden in the summer house which operates the pond on a timer I set through Apple HomeHub. The set up was a bit temperamental. It’s easy through the manufacturers own app but Apple... well, it’s Apple being Apple with all things non-Apple! It either connects first time or takes two or three attempts. Once connected though, it’s really stable and hasn’t lost a connection yet which is great when I forget to turn on the fan when I’m cycling indoors... “hey Siri, turn on gym fan” and voila! I’m transformed from looking like a raging killer tomato to a cardiovascular blush! They are well worth the money but they are quite chunky so bear that in mind when you are thinking of where to put them.

Good quality and HomeKit enabled!
I have purchased Meross products in the past. They have all been easy to set up and of good quality. These Smart Plugs are no different. Appearance: Like my other smart plugs from Meross, these are matte white and bulky, but do not encroach on adjacent sockets. Whilst the plug does partly cover the physical switch you can still happily turn it on/off. The physical button on the switch has a nice click when pressed. Setup: I set the plug up using the Home app on iOS. The process was the same as other accessories: Add Accessory > scan the code printed on the side of the plug. Functionality: Turning on and off from the Home app is nearly instant. The plug gives off an an audible click which allows me to know the command has worked. Unlike the non-HomeKit models this unfortunately does not have power monitoring which is slightly disappointing. Cost: For HomeKit plugs they are at the lower end of the price range, and are WiFi rather than Bluetooth or Zigbee (requiring a hub) which is a big win in my book. Note: I was asked to review these plugs for Meross

Not recommended
I bought these to replace some Eve ones that had broken and at first these seemed to be more reliable but these have stopped working now. They were easy to setup on my 3rd gen iPad Pro using just the home app and worked flawlessly until they just stopped switching the supply on/off. They both still react to Siri and app commands but the electrical supply stays off. They broke outside of any warranty so have been consigned to the recycling centre.

A quality product if you want to ave a reliable Home kit enabled plug.
As someone who is into home automation, these plugs just fit the bill. Unfortunately, if you have an Apple eco-system, you end up paying a few extra £'s for the privilege. The Meross MSS210 comes in 2 flavours, Homekit enabled or not. Make sure you select the correct model. The install process was simple as you would expect. You can install it either via the Meross App or by using the Home Kit QR code. Once configured it is easy to rename and change the icon on the device. Setting up automation is easy via the Home Kit App. You need to use the Meross App to update the firmware and to also allow you to sync it with Smart Things. The build quality of the plug is good and feels solid. Well work the money and now I can control the TV and heater either via Alexa or my Homekit. You can turn on the plug also by the button on the plug as well. When on it glows green.
