I use both for livingroom because both my 7 yr old and myself use tablets laptop phone that requires a doc for the charge n w her im constantly charging her electronics. Its prevents the frustration of a child being impatient when there tablet is about ti go dead n ur searching for yet another doc! Im needing to buy a couple more now for around the house! Definitely a must buy!

I couldn't get it to "snug up" with my existing standard faceplate in place, even using the screw provided. Once I removed it, it was fine, EXCEPT it doesn't quite cover the cut-out area in the wall. The design exposes a very slim gap along the edges. Just something to consider if you plan on using in a prominent spot.

The middle two outlets are not really useful

I give this outlet a solid 4 out of 5. Things they did well are the number of receptacles increasing your outlet from 2 to 6 is good. Getting two USB charging receptacles was a good addition because it reduces the number of larger transformers you have to plug your USBs into and then cover the outlet next to it. It helps. I like the night light feature. It's soft light that's not intrusive. I've only had them for a few days but they work fine. Things done not as well. I started by removing the wall plate that covers the outlets but the Kasonic isn't quite large enough to cover the hole in the wall for the outlets. I had to go back to having the wall plate. that makes the Kasonic stick out further from the wall. Not too bad but it was a little annoying. The outlets seem to be sort of the traditional distance apart from each other which means if you have one larger transformer that plugs in it will definitely cover at least two outlets. That reduces the number available although it's just sitting there under the other plug. The great part is that the screw they give you to replace the one that secures the plate to the wall is substantially long enough and has enough heft to securely fasten the Kasonic to the wall. The price is pretty good. I think there are better ones that perform similarly but if you're on a budget and you want two wall mounted surge protectors, I don't think you can go wrong buying the Kasonic. I recommend it.

I like it but I just wish it didn’t have the blue light at the top. I have them in my bedroom and at night you can see them and I just wish it wasn’t there. But it works and has a screw to enforce it to the wall so it won’t be loose or fall off

Surge protector seems to be functioning ok. I like that it is slimmer than some of the other brands and that it has a screw you can use to secure it to the receptacle. An afterthought (for me anyways) was I wished the usb outlets were on the top of the unit instead. I have a couple of plugs using the lower outlets (including a larger sized plug) and I find the wires from these plugs get in the way of plugging in my usb cable. A bit of a hassle in tight areas.

Blue light is bright.Not suitable for bedroom.Releases a really annoying high pitch squeel once you plug anything in.- maybe cuz older house?Akin to a clogged shower head squeel.No thanks.

Good quality, little akward to plug in and out, but it solved the problem of having a ton of plugs sticking too far off the wall. A good solution for tight spaces iv plugs remain plugged in a bit longer tgan a vaccum ckeaner for example

My son was so happy that I got this for his room, Now he can plug in his monitor, gaming device, speaker and still have a spot to charge his phone and not have to unplug one of the other devices to make space.This is so convenient, I even got one for my daughter too.Well worth the price

Instead of messy power bars I bought these for both mine and my fiancé’s computers. Because they’re flush to the wall we don’t hit them with our feet, they’re more discreet, and they’re surge protected! I have RGB LED lights that are USB plug in and it’s nice not to have to use an AC adapter for them because of this~
