Since I was diagnosed with a chronic illness, I became sensitive to chemicals added to detergents, specifically the scents. I have to avoid the detergent isle of the grocery store altogether for this very reason. Laundry detergent wise, the worst one for me is Gain - it leaves behind a semi permanent "scent" that does a number on my lungs and reacts with my skin. I am thankful for this "Free and Clear" detergent. Who wants a nasty chemical residue on their clothes after washing? Not me.

My friend's pediatric dermatologist recommended this brand for children and babies with eczema. After our son had his first signs of eczema, we quickly started switching all of our products. Since using this detergent, I have not noticed any skin sensitivities! It works well for our whole family and is easy to measure and pour with no spillage or leaking. I am also a nursing mother, and this detergent leaves behind no signs or smells of spit-up!

I like the original All, but it tends to make the color of my clothes looking a bit dull. The same problem goes with Tide and Gain. This one cleans well without that problem. I also like how it's environmental friendly and fragrance free. The only downside is that it's more expensive than the original ALL, but the price is acceptable.

I have had difficulty sleeping since childhood. As an adult I realized that the smell of laundry detergent could both keep me awake and wake me up from exhausted sleep. The original All Free and Clear does neither. When traveling, I always take several freshly laundered pillow cases. Works a treat.
