Buy here, not from your provider.
Lightning fried our last router that was 10 years old. So far this has been a great replacement. Our local company wanted $200 for one of these. This was a bargain. It has been working great for a year now.

Garbage
Product keeps resetting, and looses the wifi signal all the time. It is not my provider, I used a different modem/router and it worked how it should. It says refurbished but never was. It junk.

Works with Brightspeed (CenturyLink)
I have Brightspeed, formerly Centurylink and my modems kept getting fried when lightening hit nearby due to it coming in through phone line connected to modem. Brightspeed was supposed to overnight me a replacement modem/router for delivery on Tuesday BUT THEY DID NOT, I got this one to use in the mean time as well as a backup in case the new one I get from Brightspeed gets fried again. Setup was simple and easy.

Great deal on the modem
I was't going to pay an extra monthly fee to century link for there modem. As long as the incoming service is working these modem's will work. They are only a 2.4 but, hey i don't need a 5 g anyways. Works great for a great price.

CenturyLink is NOT a good company.
This item is a CenturyLink product, and I am extremely upset with the performance of that companies repair services. Not only did they not help me solve my issue, they put me through a lot of stress to end up empty handed. If you don’t have a CenturyLink account, they will not assist you with anything what so ever. So I’m other words, this product does not work with any other DSL provider BUT CenturyLink. They have monopolized their product for personal gains. Internet companies are just as bad if. It worse than the insurance companies these days.

Says Renewed BUT Looks to be new Generic model, Best Deal Ever
Updated 12/23, total trash, drops wireless's connection every 15-20 minutes. Does it make any difference whether it’s the computer, the television or your mobile phone all connections are broken and usually require another sign in before reconnecting.NEW STYLE M0DEM "I RECIEVED ON THE RIGHT"I have searched out routers in the past for CenturyLink DSL. But what I found and bought were old, used and very iffy on operating. This router with the same " C1100T designation appears to be new or newer, and is packaged as a CenturyLink Modem." The label says "Generic"Plugged in power & DSL line, entered phrase, 3-4 minuets to boot up. WORKSI HAVE THE DSL THAT YOU FIND IN THE COUNTRY, THAT COMES TO YOU OVER HARDWIRE CONNECTION, USUALLY WITH YOUR PHONE.
