Very effective
I use it to make a Tamarind drink. Mixed with ginger black molasses. Great drink to keep bowels function in an optimal manner. Great tasting too.

Love this powdered form . Had a liquid form before w/c is soy sauce color that darkens my dish. Powder is light brown .

This Tamarind powder on the back of the package says it can cause cancer. Had I known that I would not have ordered it.
