Great Adapter Card!
The media could not be loaded. Picked up this little card to adapter a WDSN850X 4TB PCIe NVME SSD into my workstation. My two native NVMe M.2 drives on my motherboard were already full and tucked behind my hard loop so I figured rather than dismantle that, I could tuck in this adapter card instead to replace a lower capacity Intel card in the same x4 slot. This adapter comes in a nondescript. cardboard box and the only assembly instructions are on Amazon's page. Overall, not hard to "build", just very basic. Basically just do the following as the video shows:1. Snap on plastic PCIe adapter bracket2. Peel off plastic covering the thermal pad (both sides) and put that on your M.2 Drive3. Put Copper Heatsink on the M.2 Drive4. Use the little rubber rings (they seem to be a mix of rubber / plastic) to hold the assembly together.5. Insert M.2 Drive into the adapter card like any M.2 Card on a Motherboard6. Put the card into a free PCIe slot on your machine.7. Install Windows Fresh or drive clone. If you are putting this into a board-based M.2 slot, you may have to check to see if your shroud or cover has enough clearance for the thermal pad and or heatsink so it may be optional depending on how you're installing this.In terms of quality though, I've used this with said WD drive so far and it's worked great. After a drive clone, no issues setting Windows' Boot Manager in BIOS to boot from this card and it's worked flawlessly. As a minor note, a green light sits lit on this card when in use and pulses when the drive is accessing. The green isn't lime like Ethernet - it's more actual green like an RGB fan color.

Excellent option when upgrading or adding a M.2 NVME SSD to a PC.
The AMPCOM M.2 NVME SSD to PCIe 4.0 Card is simple to use and does deliver the advertised performance of 64Gbps speed. To reached advertised top performance, the NVMe disk should be rated at 7000 MB/s or better, your PCIe slot must support PCIe gen 4.0 and your CPU should also support PCIe gen 4.0.The PCIe card was able to deliver 7491 MB/s (60Gbps) with a Samsung 990 Pro, which is the top speed of the NVMe disk. The adapter works just fine on PCIe gen 3.0, but the speed reached (3528 MB/s) is the maximum supported by the interface. Still a lot faster than SATA interface. The AMPCOM M.2 NVME SSD to PCIe 4.0 Card is inexpensive and it can accommodate M.2 SSDs with sizes ranging from 2230 to 2280.Make sure to get a beefy M.2 heatsink when installing SSD with speeds faster than 3500 MB/s...they can get really hot.

Works in Dell PowerEdge R710
This PCI 4x adapter works in the (c. 2010) Dell PowerEdge 6-drive R710's riser1 lower PCI 2.0 4x slot using a 1GB Firecuda NVME drive and OpenSuse Leap 15.5. Yast2 has a few installation bugs, but continuing through the installation Yast completed successfully. The NVME small-ish lock-in grommet's tiny screw is too short to secure it into the board, so use just the screw only and lock down the drive. The bracket is plastic and snaps onto the board. I chose not to use the bracket. The adapter had no issues when reformatting the drive from 512 into 4k.

Works Great With SSD
My husband's PC does not have enough NVME slots, so he got a 4TB Samsung 990 Pro from another store. With the AMPCOM, CrystalDiskMark shows 3345 MB/S read for the 990. A 980 Pro with another PCIe adapter shows 1981 MB/S read speeds. This compares to 284 MB/S for a Samsung SATA SSD. The speeds would be much higher with a newer PC.My husband tried to buy a SanDisk 1TB Extreme PRO USB 3.2 Solid State Flash Drive on May 20 using a $100 Amazon gift card given by a family member. He had JUST removed the gray "scratch-off" over the card code, but the card was declined. On two occasions customer service claimed the card had been redeemed, but provided us with zero information. Someone used the number fraudulently, but he was given no recourse. As a result, Amazon lost out on $500 of tech purchases, $300 for the 990 Pro and $200 for a 2TB Samsung T7 Shield. Until Amazon delivers the 1TB Extreme Pro drive, my husband will purchase high dollar tech elsewhere.

I would buy these again for additional devices
Storage capacity as as described. Plugged in perfectly. Increased speed but I did not measure it. Compatibale for described products.

Stand off came off along with screw.
Great product but one problem and I do hope that they fix it asap, while looking into my pc case, I notice one of my nvme was hanging loose, took the card out, further inspection on this, the actual 2280 stand off that came with the card, was loose, it seems the residue that was holding the stand off down, was no longer good, if they can make the stand off to where it can hold from the back side of the card, this could have been easily prevented, so for this reason, I give the product 3 stars, again the actual product isn't the problem, its the stand off, please fix this asap, then the item will get perfect 5 stars, and lastly, the flashing green nvme sign while the card is in use, could be a lil annoying, if there was a switch or somesort to shut it off, that would have been real nice. For those who encountered this problem, you can use zip ties to hold it down, nice and secure, you really don't have much of a choice when this happens, infact, zip ties is alot more secure then using the factory stand offs.
