Excellent Value!
First things first, I always consider the price in terms of what I am paying for a given product in relation to the overall value/rating. That being said, this is the most inexpensive mechanical numeric keypad that I was able to purchase on Amazon as of 5/24/2020. I only use the numeric keypad when I am working which involves entering in a lot of numbers generally between 4-6 hours a day. Please Note: I specifically purchased this numeric keypad and a TKL keyboard with the intent of modding and lubing them so with that being said let’s get to it. Here are a couple of things that stood out right away for me. 1. I noticed that the keypad was not leveled. When I hit the escape key, the bottom right hand side of the keypad would lift up quite a bit. 2. I noticed a prominent pinging noise when using the keypad. The pinging noise bothers me, but considering the price this can be easily overlooked. 3. While I appreciate the fact that they provided any type backlighting, at this price point I would have much preferred a simple white LED over the blue LED. There is a switch on the back to turn off the blue LED if you wish to do so. Mods: Lubed the switches Added o-rings Changed the keycaps Sanded down the upper right rubber pad to level out the numeric keypad Painted keypad case white satin finish With the modifications, this is an EXCELLENT value. The numeric keypad has a nice, smooth typing action while being quiet at the same time. The gray and white keycaps along with the white satin finish make it uniquely classy. Overall very happy with keypad :-) Items used for mods on the keyboard and numeric keypad: YMDK 125 Keys ANSI ISO Keyset OEM Profile Thick PBT https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q87PZXN/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_e7V4Eb5710CWQ Keycap Puller with 200 PCS Rubber O-Ring Switch Dampeners https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z58855B/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_Q8V4EbX3677H0 Super Lube 21030 Synthetic Grease https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WLQ251B/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_g-V4EbR8M8D5C Super Lube 51004 Synthetic Oil with PTFE, High Viscosity, 4 oz Bottle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000UKUHXK/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_Q-V4EbJW3NDHE Mix Ratio = 6 to 1 = 6 Part Synthetic Oil to 1 Part Synthetic Grease Primer Rust-Oleum 327918 American Accents Spray Paint, 12 oz, Satin Blossom White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079KH8LCH/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_y5V4Eb3QKWA1V Finish off paint with Enamel = Rust-Oleum 7791830 Satin Enamel Spray, 12-Ounce, White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000Z8FGII/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_mYV4Eb4B0MG3C Sandpaper Sponge For Wet Dry Sanding, 60 80 120 180 220 320 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082798F1D/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_o9V4EbQ8TGX9X

A good numpad, with some strange decisions
I wanted a classic style numpad(don't care about the additional row, but don't want a split enter/+/0 like a lot of other ones). Works well, the additional row is nice but that's where the first weird decision is: esc, tab, backspace; so far so good. FN - the only functionality it provides is that backspace functions as '=' instead. Why not just have it instead of the fn button? The other thing is the backlight. The blue looks ok if you like it, but the when numlock is on, the "num" button will always be the opposite of the rest of the keyboard(on when the backlight is off, off when the backlight is on), so if you want it to be always on you get this oddity all the time. As a keyboard it feels nice, I'm not familiar with mechanical keyboards, but it is nice to type on it as far as I can tell.

Bad Cable, Weird FN key, Poopy Blues, Great Value?
Don't know what's up with the FN key and why they didn't just turn it into an "=" sign. I suspect they were going to make it macro-programmable and just gave up on it, since the back of the box mentions something about "flash memory". Poopy loose blue switches are par for the course, I swapped them with others. This board does make for a fantastic customizable numpad, if you were looking for a cheap one. No $35 "DIY kit" nonsense that's missing a chip. Yeah, I know that one is QMK compatible. Yes, I am a little jealous. Included stabilizers are also poopy, but what did you expect for the price? I'm going to mod them later. Cable that came with this numpad exploded after a few minutes plugged in. No idea why it cut out like that, but I suspect something burnt out. Thankfully, my computer seems unscathed and the numpad still works with quality cables. Rejoice, modders, for this numpad includes plenty of hollow space for you to store your junk in. This includes foam, silicone, lead, dead bodies, and other various things to make your numpad feel and sound "thockier." The switch plate on top is even made out of metal. The electronics seem good, but the solder used requires high temperatures and seems low quality once melted. Keep this in mind when desoldering. I resoldered new switches in with proper Kester solder and it looked good to go. If you wanted to meme around, this board is also perfect to solder in all of your unused tester switches. I have four types of Kalith clickies, Kalith Royals, and Akko Lavender Purples in the mix. No, you can not stop me.

The perfect keyboard for small workstations
this is genuinely one of the best keyboards I've ever owned. the lights are bright enough to illuminate a small space, but not too bright to the point where it's blinding. the various light combinations are super pleasing to look at and they complete any gaming/work setup. I have a tiny desk, so all I can fit is my pc, my monitor, and my mouse. I used to be forced to hold my keyboard on my lap, until this keyboard came along. It's compactness is incredibly convenient for small spaces and for transportation. So in short, this keyboard is a lifesaver. 11/10 my only issue with this keyboard is that the caps lock key is always illuminated green. but apart from that, this keyboard is worth every penny.

Good product for its price. Downside is macros are not instant but rather 5 second holds other than that love the RGB modes.
