If you want a stable light adapter for your 1911, don't look hear unless your going cheap. It moves slightly up and down if you pull on it. It makes space in the trigger guard smaller therefore, slightly harder to get your finger to the trigger. And I would rather have it be made of metal to hold my light to my gun. Take it or leave it.

Put it on as a mock up. It angled down a lot. Tried to add the screw to see if i could adjust it after getting the screw near tight. It snapped at the skinniest point of the larger piece before i got the screw halfway in. Wast of money. Bought the aluminum one available here on Amazon for $30. It went on easier, functions perfectly and looks good.
