i thought this will take care of my flies and small fling insects but there is no power to pull the insects into the chamber:(

I was a bit skeptical if something like this would work but surprisingly it does. I have a 4yr old and didn't want a zapper that would wake him/us up at night. In NYC we don't have lots of mosquitoes but there are some, a few fruit flies and normal larger house flies. This thing is mostly silent which was great and does have an active UV light so things will respond.However, about ~ 3 weeks after using it almost 24/7 it suddenly started making a racket. After inspection it turned out the plastic fan had cracked along the top and down the side making the whole unit wobble. Other people had reported similar issues with their units.I was able to take it apart and used Gorilla Glue on the cracked part(s) of the fan, waited 24hrs for it to fully cure and it's back to normal operations. I am fairly technical but all in it probably took 30min to disassemble and reassemble and figure out along the way.So, it gets 3 stars because it's cheap and pretty effective but 2 stars are deducted because it broke yet I was able to fix which admittedly was a little obnoxious but for the price, I'd get it again.

The main thing to know is that this product WORKS! I had a drain fly issue 2 years ago which is why I purchased this item. I have been very pleased with it since.It works quietly and efficiently at killing small flying insects in your home.I live in a 900 sq. ft. apartment, and am pleased with the results of having this machine around. Consider purchasing more than one if you're in a larger space.I highly recommend this product.

I used this but it’s doesn’t work that great. Still have bugs around the house. Even I tried to put many places it’s doesn’t catch bugs.

I live in the Midwest and we had a mild-winter. On top of that, we also have mulberry bushes which is now known to be what is driving the flys near our house.In the am, we would go into the first floor of our house and all of a sudden flies would start flying from the ceiling and from light fixtures it was awful. Literally one day after plugging this in, the next day I did not see any flies. When we emptied the tray there were over ten flies that had gone into this device. I dont know how it works but it does and it fixed our problem!

Amazing product! I have become a plant lover and so I now have multiple indoor plants. Well, about 30. I started getting gnats from the soil. It was becoming a bit much and I was going to have to take the plants outdoors . This saved the situation! The first pic is only the first over night and what was inside!! The 2nd pic is nuts!!! I live this and will order more! It also is very attractive as I am a very clean line neat person. This does not look like a bug catcher. Thank you!!
