great kit! first experience with this line and it didn't disappoint. all pieces snapped together well with no loose fitting parts. looks like something straight out of the sci-fi channel ready to attack earth. nice paint touches through out. the plastic feels great but the guns feel more delicate due to the excellent sculps and intricate designs, so they may not hold up to rough child play. this is definitely young adult and up model system that any sci-fi fan should love.

My son loves these snap ships and I love them WAY more than legos. He actually keeps these built versus taking the lego builds apart a few days after building them. He has a HUGE collection of snap ships and I love that I can buy 3 of the same snap ship when they are on sale for under $10 because there are multiple different builds for each one. He has dropped these, "flown" them into each other and we have had epic battles without them falling apart. He can build them all himself and loves that they come with a stand so he can put them on his dresser when he isn't playing with them.

Bought for a gift and the child loved it!

Very fun toy, and currently costs only $10, which is a great value for money. The only issue is that the gimmicky drop pods won't stay together, and they constantly fall off the ship, even when left alone on display. For those who play Snap Ships Tactics, now is the time to stock up on Scorpion and Trident kits, because when they rerelease them for the next expansion, they will absolutely jack up the prices to ridiculous amounts. Also keep in mind the Scorpion and Trident stock builds were never meant to be used for a tabletop strategy game, and they must be redesigned in order to accommodate the stands and all the parts.

This is a modular built similar to Lego or brick toys. Shapes are typically cubes that connect to each other. Every toy comes with a mini figure, that could be a pilot or a soldier. There are two factions: good guys vs bad guys kind of deal. It is fun for kids to build. Some models come with multiple builds, meaning you can build 3 different planes with the pieces included in the box. Once you are done building the ship there is a display stand where the ship can be put up for display. The instructions are pretty clear and easy to follow.

I got this on sale from Amazon, not so much to build but to collect. The look of it intrigued me. When it arrived I wasn't disappointed. The box is large with colorful pictures of the completed kit. Perfect for displaying which is why I bought it. There may come a day that I open this kit and put it together, but right now it's part of my collection and displayed in my house and in this role it is exactly what I wanted and for such purposes I highly recommend it.
