Loved it the game its a classic if you haven’t played it I highly recommend it just know you will be playing for a few hours yes it is addicting so play at your own risk hahaha

I bought this for my son's 7th birthday, and we had a blast playing it. He had played Monopoly Jr. before, but never "real" Monopoly, and he loved it. I like that it sort of gives kids the whole concept of a debit card. My husband was banker, and although it seemed cumbersome to have the credit tracking system, he said he much preferred it over paper money. The only thing I didn't like was that without paper money, you have to keep asking the banker what your balance is because you can't get an idea of what your worth is without the paper money in front of you. It is kind of interesting to play with such high value properties, too, after playing the classic game for so many years. We liked the cool, modern playing pieces. Fun was had by all! :)

It's good to see this old classic brought to modern times. I used to love playing this game when i was younger but as we live in today fast paced world it seem to take too long to play a game. I guess years ago we had more time. Anyway with the new credit / debit card the game move much more quickly. you would not think the money would take so much time but it's made simple to transfer amounts between player which i think makes up alot of the time. No more stopping to make change or go the banker for different domoninations. And with a press of a button you know exactly how much total money you have as well as the other players.

This game is very fun and a bit easier since you don't have to count money any more. The cards of Chance were not made well and were cut off so only part of the card was there. I called Hasbro and they happily replaced these cards for me at no charge. Hasbro customer service was fantastic and very easy to work with and highly professional, I guess that is why we have about 10 Hasbro games so far.

This is great since you don't need to have all the money everywhere, but it still takes time to enter in all the payments, etc. Now to be fair, there are only three of us playing at a time and this may make a difference. If there were many people playing, or even a person just being the banker and not playing, it would be better. You are still waiting to have the banker enter in the values and such, so the play time is still slowed down.There is no real money-counting educational value to the toy since it's just like using an ATM machine, more or less. You do have to do some math when deciding whether to buy a property or upgrade to more houses or hotels.The real (and only) plus to this game is that you don't have the money all over the place and you don't have to count it out in the beginning or put it away at the end of the game. This was all I expected when I bought the game so we're perfectly happy with it and enjoy more room on the table. Worth the money? Absolutely! :)

I bought this product as Christmas gift for my dad. He is a big monopoly fan. He already has a monopoly game but the old version. He takes his monopoly game on every trip that we do, so I guessed this was a fun way to change the way we play. He loves the new version of monopoly, he was very pleased, and I recommend this product for any monopoly fan. Some say that with the electronic way the game is much slower but when we play we are never in a rush, we always play for average 5 hours, an no one likes to be the bank.

Just played this game last night with the in-laws. They're great -- the game isn't. Every player gets a "debit" card to use instead of the paper money used in the original game. It sounds like a great idea. But reality quickly gets in the way. The modified banking system not only slows down game play, but it leads to less player interaction.In addition, unless individual plays keep mental note of how much is left on their card, they must go back to the banker to see how much the card has left.Overall, the electronic banking was a detraction rather than an enhancement.Monopoly Electronic Banking Edition

I have played on the computer so hated the idea of all that loose money and needing to add it all,etc. This takes care of all that. There are a few rules on the computer that are not for this one but I add them just fine. All tax, etc. goes into free parking (use a pad and pen to keep track of that), if you get a roll that puts you right on go..you get double. (4 mil instead of 2 mil) but just add the extra 2mil with the card. Would like more choices for marker/tokens but other then that, I find no fault with it.
