Pre-winterizing
I bought my brand new 14" mattress for my early birthday gift and had it shipped to the tenth floor at the river's side beyond which is the great blue ocean. Insects, creatures, pests, chiggers, moths, snakes, spiders, and a certain amount of life, yet unnamed, possibly unseen all find success in their lifestyle choices in Florida. I'm fierce about the war on the inside and the outside lifestyle choices and one pest is the ever lovin' bed bug. So, this winter I'm protecting before the lifestyle choice is determined as doable by any little body. I'm enjoying the killing and finding relaxation in the peace, I just hate it when they all crawl in and start talking and yammering while biting and burrowing. Ewww. No fun. So protection saves money and health from failing.

So Far So Good...
Purchased this to combat a bug problem in my bedroom. I have to say at the moment it is working as promised. I applied a bit in a particular portion of my carpet, then rubbed it in using a glove, and repeated through the whole carpet in the room. I really cannot see it, which I think is amazing. Also used it on the nooks, crannies, headboard, window sill, and closet floor in my room, as well as in my storage bench. The tough part will be leaving it for 2-3 weeks as recommended, but if it does the job and kills whatever is occurring, I have no problem with that. I have to mention that I also did throw my stuffed animals and the clothes hanging in my closet into the dryer on the highest heat, and hot washed my bedding and dried it on the highest heat. There was also some serious vaccuming, shaking of rugs, and placing mothballs in the closet and in the plastic storage containers in my room, and I also have a mattress cover with a box spring cover coming to replace the one I had to get rid of. My point in saying this is that you have to do a lot more then just put the earth down and trust it will work. I think a lot of the people who have given this one or two stars have just applied it and hoped it would work without rubbing or working it into the carpet, not letting it settle, or vaccumed it up before it could take the desired effect. It is still early days, and I will update after 2-3 weeks, but as it stands right now, I am satisfied with this product. UPDATE: So after applying this and leaving it for a month, I am happy to say that I have not seen any live bugs for about a month. Within the first week I found a couple of dried out dead ones here and there, but overall the results have been grand! I have done a reapplication this past week just to be doubly sure that I have gotten rid of them from my room, but am pleased so far! NOTE: I have also taken other various steps. I removed all wooden bulky furniture from my room and replaced it with light and collapsible chairs. I hot washed and dried all my linens and hanging up clothes. I invested in a HEPA filter vacuum for better clean up. All my personal effects are now stored in plastic containers. And I caulked every crack and hole I found in my room with silicone sealant. My point is that yes there is more to this than just the dusting. I still check my mattress and box spring every other day to make sure there is not a stray at all. Hopefully this will continue and I will continue to be free of these nuisances.

The applicator tip works really well. Might kill bedbugs.
First off, we do not have bed bugs. We just bought an old house built in 1915 while a friend bought an older house from 1876. Within a week of moving in, his children were covered in bed bug bites! I saw the house during the showing (we were thinking about buying) and did not see any evidence of bedbugs. They came out of nowhere. He advised me to be proactive about preventing bedbugs so I bought this product. I cannot currently speak to whether or not it kills bed bugs because I have not seen one yet; however, I can speak to the applier head. It works very good! I think the applicator is first class. You squeeze the bottle and out comes the powder in a straight line right into any crevice you can imagine. I think the applicator is so great that I am writing this review. You'll have to look at other reviews for if it actually kills bedbugs! The four start rating is simply because I do not have sufficient evidence to rate it 5 stars. And it doesn't seem to kill spiders, which made me slightly sad, even-though that is not what is made to do.

Harris bed bug powder
It's a great product and as long as you do it the right way you can get rid of bed bugs 100% very quickly. I love Harris bed bug powder. If somebody has bed bugs and they tell me about it I always suggest Harris.

Took 12 Weeks to Work
After buying & using this product, I read online that CimeXa works faster. I used this along with those interceptor things. I sprinkled this stuff inside the interceptors which were placed under my 4 bed posts. I also (getting down on my hands & knees) lined the based boards of my bedroom with this stuff. Wearing a latex glove and using a paper towel, I pushed as much of this stuff as would fit into the teeny space between the hardwood floors and the base boards. Later air blew a lot of it out but I didn't care. I began throwing away my pillows every time I woke up with a bite on my face. I'd found those black crumbs in my pillows and they took longer than 90 minutes to dry in a commercial dryer, so I decided to toss them and began buying the $5 Joe boxer pillows from Kmart. Finally, I also washed and dried my bedding including comforter and bedbug mattress cover every 2 weeks. Everything except the bedbug mattress cover got dried on high heat for 90 minutes in a commercial dryer. This strategy took 12 weeks to work. No bites in about 3 weeks. I'm leaving all the stuff down through the summer.

The tip was broken and almost 3rd of the product was spilled inside the packaging bag

If applies properly, it kills the bed bugs and avoids it coming back for some days. I think it could kill every bugs if applied properly. The puffer is a little bit hassle to use - You have to get the correct angle to get a good puff.
